  • ¡Un área de bosque acogedora es el escenario perfecto para esta gran casa llena de todas las comodidades! Esta casa es el campamento base perfecto para explorar el Parque Nacional Olímpico y el estrecho del océano y se encuentra a solo 10 minutos de Port Angeles y el ferry Victoria, BC. Disfrute de una chimenea interior con una cocina completamente equipada junto con una acogedora parrilla de propano y una fogata al aire libre. La casa tiene 4 habitaciones (3 camas queen, 1 futón queen, 2 camas individuales y 2 cunas individuales) y una mesa de comedor lo suficientemente grande para 10 personas. Cuenta con un porche cubierto, sala de lavandería, TV con DVD de cortesía disponibles y un amplio patio delantero con hermosos paisajes arbolados. Hay una pequeña tienda a un paseo de nuestro campamento que ofrece comida, recuerdos, hielo, leña.

    ¡Puede mirar fuera de la casa y ver la belleza de los árboles alrededor de esta propiedad forestal desde su patio privado y patio que son perfectos para tomar un café por la mañana o descansar por la noche después de regresar del aire libre! Hay senderos para caminar en la propiedad hasta el río debajo, y estamos ubicados en el medio del parque nacional con el estrecho del océano y la ciudad de Port Angeles (y el ferry Victoria, Canadá) a solo 6 millas de distancia.

    La casa pertenece y está situada al lado de nuestro parque de casas rodantes y camping. Debido a que está en nuestro campamento, también tiene acceso a todas nuestras comodidades: un huerto, juegos al aire libre, voleibol, baloncesto, tienda de regalos y refrigerios, películas de cortesía y más.

    La primavera generalmente dura de marzo a junio y la nieve comienza a derretirse y las plantas comienzan a florecer. Las temperaturas máximas promedio oscilan entre 51 y 65 grados F. El verano es julio, agosto y septiembre cuando desaparece la nieve en las montañas y la zona es vibrante con vegetación y días soleados. Esta es la estación más seca cuando las granjas de lavanda están en flor y la temperatura alta promedio es de 66-69 grados. Octubre es el mes principal para el otoño cuando las hojas cambian a amarillos y rojos impresionantes y el aire se vuelve fresco y fresco con altas temperaturas alrededor de 57 y los primeros dos días de congelación hacen su aparición junto con un popular Festival del Cangrejo. Noviembre - febrero trae el clima invernal con un rango de temperatura alta de 46-50 y mínimos nocturnos consistentemente en los años 30. El área promedia 36 pulgadas de lluvia al año y 3 pulgadas de nieve.

The staff are super friendly and helpful from day 1! They have suggested area activities, know the local food situation, and are just all around glad to see their guests! The property is situated right on the edge of the National Park and is the perfect base for trips to Crescent Lake, Sol Duc, Forks, Hoh Rainforest, and Hurricane Ridge. You’re also 15 minutes from Port Angeles and great food if you don’t want to cook, though the house has a full kitchen and a propane grill. Port Angeles also has a great park for kids, and the frrry terminal to go to Victoria BC. In short, this was the perfect home for a family group and we’d book again if in the area.

Annual girls hiking trip

Excellent for the 6 women for 5 nights. We love to stay in same place together. Location excellent for hiking and close to shopping and dining out

The people at the camp are very nice, friendly, and helpful. The house was beautiful, clean, has alot of room. It was private and peaceful and close to everything or just a short drive.

Wisconsin wedding family

Great place to stay, clean and supplied well. Had fun with everyone staying at the house and being able to come and go when we need to. Nine people slept comfortably and had lots of room. Thank you so much! Will totally stay here again. Close to National Parks, Salt Creek, Lake Crescent, Madison Falls and more.

Wonderful family time

We really enjoyed our family time in this comfortable house. Plenty of room for the 9 of us. Well supplied large kitchen for cooking together. The RV park adjacent is quiet and the kids liked the outdoor spaces and visiting the horses. The staff were friendly and helpful. We're glad we found this place.

Perfect Family Vacation House

So much room, love the location. 2 full bathrooms, & a toilet in the laundry room on the 1st floor.Very cozy. Outdoor firepit, grill, smoker, inside fireplace, good kitchen utensils. Coffee pot, spices, no ice maker

Great base for our trip to the Olympic Peninsula

We stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was in an excellent location to explore and enjoy the Olympic Peninsula. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for a great stay. The bed configurations allowed for a group of 11 to stay in the house very comfortably.. There was a nice hiking trail that started almost right outside our door. We recommend staying here if you are looking to explore the Olympic Peninsula.

Roomy house full of amenities

The house is big, with a closet full of games, there are DVDs, a piano (!) a fire pit, an outdoor game, a nearby playground and best of all, a large pile of gravel which magically attracted the little ones. There is something for everyone. And the entire Olympic Peninsula and all its attractions are nearby. Great place for a family reunion.

Very woodsy- nature all around! The house is decorated so lovely with rustic vibe with a touch of class. Everything we needed was provided especially the kitchen! Beds were comfortable- slept so good after our hikes everyday. House is so roomy and perfect for our family. Love the piano- myself and our son play. Overall, we would come back! Enjoyed Olympic National Park so much- it’s stunning beauty and magnificent nature.

Great Location for Exploring Olympic National Park

What a fantastic place to stay, it was a cozy home filled with all the right things to make memories. The beds were comfortable and the amenities great! Loved the location for its ability to be a great launching point to get to Olympic National Park or the ocean. We loved it here and hope to be back soon. The one thing that was a bummer was internet speed, it wasn't the best, but I think it was shared among the RV park. Just be warned if you're looking to do some remote work over the weekend or busier weeks. A minor issue, as we were there for the sights, not the streaming!

Great Location

Rustic but clean. Well stocked kitchen though no dishwasher. Located next to a large RV Park but it is very quiet. Owners and office staff were very helpful recommending day trips. Located about 15 min. west of Port Angeles and very close to Olympic attractions like Madison Falls and Sol Duc. Downstairs king and queen beds very comfortable. Upstairs beds a bit soft and not as comfy for adults. Great location for visiting Olympic. And stop at nearby Grannys west on 101 for excellent take-out foods.

Great Home Base for Olympic National Park!

We stayed at this property to spend time with family and hike in national park. Good stuff: Pellet grill not gas which was good and we were provided more pellets Beds were all pretty comfy Kitchen worked well Fire pit was a nice touch Big yard area just outside for kids to play in RV park has more places to play Not great stuff: Wi-Fi worked but seemed slow and we had some connection issues. Not intolerable but somewhat annoying. No dishwasher but that was known in advance. All in all it was really a great spot and well worth the price.

Wonderful stay

We chose this house because it was closer to the Olympic Park and it was great. The house was totally functional. And everyone enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. The big yard with lots of yard games was great. I'd definitely recommend it.

50th Anniversary Family Celebration

I think one of the best comments came from our middle grandson, 10 years old. As soon as we got there he ran upstairs and through the house shouting, "This is my dream house!" His family of 5 stayed upstairs and our two other couples stayed downstairs. The best part were all the surprises: the game closet, the outdoor "Jurassic Park"-like surroundings, the campfire, the washer and dryer, the huge downstairs bathroom, the wonderful selection of movies...the whole experience was wonderful. Oh, I almost forgot about the fun paths to explore, oh and the greenhouse, and the pick-your-own garden. I highly recommend staying at the Elwah RV Park rental house.
