    Popular three bedroom with beachfront view! You’ll love relaxing at this vacation home located in the heart of Crystal Beach. The spacious living/dining area has a large flat screen HDTV for movie night or just kick back on the comfortable furnishings and take in the beautiful Gulf views. The large kitchen has plenty of cooking and prep space so it’s easy to prepare plenty of fresh seafood for your family and friends. With a dining table and extra seating at the bar everyone can enjoy meals together. There is an amazing deck that is perfect for late-night escapes or for enjoying your morning coffee. This house is a great place to relax with your friends and family, but you’ll probably want to spend most of your time on the beach since it’s only steps away!

    Please note, Hurricane Ike forever changed the footprint of Bolivar Peninsula, therefore some homes listed as beachfront may have a lot and/or street in front of it. This is the result of the uncertainty following the storm where some property owners elected to participate in the government buy out of lots that fell in what later would be considered within the vegetation line established by the State of Texas and subsequently included as part of the public beach. Not all property owners participated. Those homes where the property in front of it are part of the buyout are considered beachfront even though to the east or west of it there may be a home closer to the beach.

This home was the perfect set up for us. We rented it to host the board of directors and spouses for an event that we were hosting for the weekend. It was a perfect distance to the set up on the beach, had all the little things needed to make it an easy stay. The house was very thoughtfully equipped (utensils, brooms, pot holders, linens/towels) and had everything we needed. Amazing porch and view. Loved the downstairs bathroom so that sand wasn't being constantly tracked in. Highly recommend this property and will hopefully be back to it soon!

Rocky’s First Easter

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Parrot Head with our two adult daughters, their spouses and our grandson. Our oldest came for a visit from Boston and wanted to go to the beach for her son’s first Easter. The house was wonderful, the view was exceptional (better than the pictures). There was plenty of room for everyone and they even had a pack and play there for the baby. The linen service had everything we needed there including dishwasher and laundry pods! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and eating right there, we enjoyed breakfast every morning. The beach was so close and although what is out of our control (the weather) we had a wonderful trip and stay. We did call Cobb Real Estate a few times with questions and the phone was always answered and our questions answered very pleasantly, it was great to be able to get help so quickly each time! We will definitely be staying here again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was spacious, modern, and clean. But didn't like the location so close to the public restrooms and showers. They were right in front of the beach house and the noise and parking were annoying. And this was not shown in any of the photos we looked at before renting the house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved this rental! It felt like home, and all amenities, and kitchen dinner and glassware were very nice. Anything we needed to use for cooking was there. They even had a couple of corkscrews for wine bottles. The house was very clean and confortable, and since we were actually there for 7 days, we used the washer and dryer, which was a huge help. The house is close enough to the water to hear and see the surf, without being right down on the beach where most of the traffic and noise was, especially on the weekend. We sat on the deck quite a bit. We will be back!

The location was beach front with a wide porch, outdoor furniture, and great view of the ocean! The cabin was neat, clean, and comfortable! The kitchen was fully furnished with plates, glasses, and utensils! Downstairs had an outdoor shower, a bathroom and a barbecue grill. We have stayed at Crystal Beach in other cabins numerous times but this was our best vacation and we plan on coming back to Parrot Head next year! I recommend it!

It’s a small 3 bedroom 2 bath with everything you need to relax and have a great time! The kitchen was fully stocked! It has a Weber grill for you to use. Washer/Dryer! The views from the deck were wonderful! Bring mosquito spray because some nights you couldn’t sit on the porch or walk the beach there was so many it was unbearable! That was the only negative! Definitely will be back!
