We had a great 4th of July trip here! There was a bit of confusion with our guest and bed count after booking, but the host was easy to work with, and so were we. :)If you're booking this house mainly to stay in and watch movies, keep in mind that the TVs are small and just adequate. You won’t get a full movie night experience, but for basic use, they’re fine. The ice maker didn’t work during our stay, but I didn’t feel it was worth complaining about. The store is right down the street, and honestly, I’m used to buying ice since built-in makers rarely keep up with demand in rentals. Tap water was fine too, though I always travel with a Waterdrop filter just in case.Beds weren’t the most comfortable, but comfort is subjective, and we didn’t spend much time in them anyway. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed: plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, and bath towels (though bring your own beach towels!).Parking was abundant, and the beach is right there. You’ll get sand on your tires—it’s that close. The views are stunning and more than make up for the few minor inconveniences.A few tips for families: bring earplugs or noise protection for little ones during fireworks weekends. Our 8-month-old did great with ear coverings. Also, keep a close eye on toddlers around the balcony, as there’s no gate to block off the stairs. And because you’re so close to the beach, you may get the occasional rogue firework heading your way.
