Nice visit w/family

We came to visit family, it was me, my parents and my brother. This place had plenty of room to spread out. The pool was great, we were close to everything we needed. The key exchange was very smooth with Lisa taking time to show us around the place. Any questions were answered right away. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful location

Our stay at this property was wonderful .. very comfortable accommodations & the outdoor salt water pool area was an extra bonus. If you like peace and serenity, yet close enough to stores and restaurants, you will love this home . We look forward to our next stay.

Not Satisfied

The beds are very uncomfortable and need to be replaced with better quality mattresses. We tried two different bedrooms and they were both bad. Also the bedroom furniture was of very poor quality. The pictures provided showed a gas barbecue but there was non on the property. We were looking forward to doing a lot of barbecuing. Kitchen utensils and glass ware was very cheap. We went out to buy wine glasses to enjoy glasses of wine rather then drinking wine out of mugs. Overall the property was cheaply furnished. Considering were paying over 200 hundred dollars per night for two weeks we would expect better. We have rented 5 houses in Port Charlotte Florida in the last six years and this was the poorest one we have ever rented.

Decent spot to crash at

Overall it was a good spot for crashing and keeping your items there. Pool was a nice touch. The place was a little dirty and has not had a good cleaning in a while. We had to buy coffee, trash bags, dish washer soap and shampoo. Some items, sure, but all other places we stay at include most of these items. The gentleman that helps with the key turnovers showed up unannounced to “check the pool” and kept peeking in looking at my wife get ready for the day. A little awkward! The owner of the property pushes all communications to this maintenance man, which is a little inconvenient. Pillows sucked, beds were okay. My advice is to bring your supplies with you and only use the place like a hotel.

Pool time!

We had such a nice stay! I had meetings to attend on zoom daily and the extra living space was perfect. I could be on my call and have the curtains open to see the sunshine and the pool. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the proximity to restaurants and stores! We only left the house once to get some extra groceries because that pool held our attention! My kids had a blast!

Lots of room!

Our family enjoyed our first time in Port Charlotte and visited with my parents who winter in Punta Gorda. The kids enjoyed the pool too. Boris and Gerhard were both great with communication.

Perfect Florida Vacation

We recently stayed at the Port Charlotte home. It was just at it was represented in the photos. Very clean, spacious and quiet. The beds and linens were very comfortable. They had everything we needed for the kitchen and bath areas. The pool area is lovely with seating for enjoying the lanai. Two bikes are provided so you can ride around the neighborhood. There are many fun things to do in the area. The owner was very quick to reply to questions. We would stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends.

Beautiful Area

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & LOVED having a private heated pool in the evenings. The area is beautiful and close enough for daily beach trips, which we took advantage of visiting many beaches and state park beaches.The house was clean & had everything we needed to make it feel like we were home. We’d definitely recommend this house and hope to get to enjoy it again on future vacations! Thank you!!

Great place to relax

This rental is in a very quiet part of Port Charlotte, but close to shopping, restaurants and beaches. The pool is great, as is the covered patio area. This home is very roomy and offered a separate wing of 3 rooms and a bath when our son came to visit with his family. The master bedroom opens right onto the pool deck. Convenient to Punta Gorda, about 20 minutes away, and Englewood and Boca Grande beaches, about 45 minutes.

The residence was nice and the neighbor was fairly quiet. The only problem I truly have is I placed a $300.00 deposit. We spent the entire night cleaning before we left, mopping floors, cleaning the oven twice with the oven cleaner, cleaning the bathrooms, washing sheets and replacing on the beds, ensuring all the dishes and everything was washed, all trash taken out, floors swept with broom. All counters, table tops, and the oven top were cleaned. The outside was swept up and table was washed off. They charged an additional $120 for "cleaning". They stated in an email that a chair had been moved and not returned (the chair was moved three feet backwards). I have never had a place charge extra for cleaning as I clean really good when I leave, and am sorely disappointed in these owners as it made me feel that they are out to collect extra money. Will not recommend this house for anyone to rent despite the neighborhood. When you deal with shady people, it makes the entire stay not worth it.
