Considerate of families with small children

Hosts were very accommodating for our group. We had two babies requiring cribs and high chairs. They made sure we had everything we needed. They provide education on how to operate the boat/lift along with some guidance on where to go within the channels and the bay. I’ve stayed in several rental homes and this was the best stocked by far. They even went so far as to have cold beverages in the fridge and snacks out when we checked in.

Great House!

We loved our stay at House with a boat! The house was very clean and comfortable. It was also well stocked with snacks and drinks. The beds were very comfortable, we all slept great. The boat was amazing, we had a blast exploring the nearby islands and beaches.

Really enjoyed our stay at House with a boat! Have never rented a house that was so fully stocked with almost anything you could think of, including snacks and beverages! Had a a couple issues with the boat, but these were quickly rectified. All in all a great week.

Bachelorette weekend

Had 7 ladies stay for Bachelorette weekend. Location js a quiet neighborhood so it was great for relaxation. House stocked with everything you would want/need and a great selection of snacks and drinks. Max came and showed us boat and pool instructions. All contacts were quick to respond to any of our questions and even provided some local places for beaches and restaurants. Everyone said how great the setup was for what we wanted...rest and relaxation. The time on the boat was great and we even saw dolphins several times. Great and memorable trip! Thanks House with A Boat!

Terrific home exactly as described

House was exactly as shown & described in the info provided by the owner. It was incredibly clean, spacious and comfortable. We really liked that all the rooms were big (including all bedrooms) and the living areas were open to each other with pretty views of the pool/canal. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms with everything you would need. The snacks & drinks provided were an unexpected bonus that we really appreciated. We didn't use the boat, but did enjoy the pool and appreciated the comfortable seating around the pool. The neighborhood is very quiet, as was the canal the home sits on. Very convenient to a couple nice parks and shopping/dining in both Port Charlotte & Punta Gorda. We will definitely stay here for future visits.

Phenomenal family vacation!

The home was set up nicely for our family of six adults and 4 small children. It was very clean and well stocked with all essentials and plenty of extras, the most we have ever experienced in a vacation rental. The location was wonderful, pool-a ton of fun and the boat was beyond enjoyable! it was a real treat for all of us including the littles. We even saw dolphins and they came up to our boat! Wonderful memories of our trip! Thanks so very much!

The house was good, snacks and beverages along with kitchen supplies, and bathroom supplies were nice to have supplied. There were several items that were in a state of needed repair. The description and pictures of the house did not exactly depict the current condition of the property. Overall I thought we overpaid for the property and amenities.

Perfect spot

Great time staying at the house with the boat, everything was as advertised, clean, stocked with snacks. We didn’t have to reach out to the host for anything. Max showed us how to use boat lift and navigate the canal to port Charlotte harbor. We enjoyed the house , boat and the area. Definitely will be returning in the future.

House with a boat

We had an amazing time. It’s going to be a great memory for our family. We relaxed in the pool. Cooked in the kitchen. The house came stocked already with drinks in the fridge. The house was stocked with everything we needed especially towels which was perfect, since the kids kept going in & out of the pool. Stores were just minutes away. Now to the best part, the pontoon boat. What a blast we had. We went to a mangrove island and anchored the boat. We had it all to ourselves. We swam in the water & I got a nice tan on the sand. The host was responsive right away if we needed anything. Thanks for having the Butler family.

Family reunion

We stayed here for our family reunion. It was wonderful. Great experience. Anytime we had any little issues it was handled quickly same day. Little recommendation- have a baby gate available to put in back door to protect any littles from water. Thank you!!

Awesome House With a Boat!!

Great experience from the beginning and house is as advertised. They went above and beyond what normal VRBO properties do. The fridge stocked with water, sodas and beer was a fantastic touch. Eugene was a pleasure to deal with and always responsive. Max the boat captain was super friendly as well. House is as advertised. Great location for Atlanta Braves Spring training. Only a short 25 min drive to the stadium. Also only 10 min drive across the bridge to Punta Gorda and of course you can take the boat to TT's! Would definitely stay here again!!

Winter getaway

Eugene the host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. The boat was wonderful and Max was easily available to help our husbands learn to navigate out of the canal. The house was close to grocery stores, fun restaurants and Fisherman’s Village. The kitchen was well stocked and our host had wine, beer, and munchies waiting for us! The pool was wonderful—clean and heated. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Hospitality

We were their first guests after the renovation, and they did an amazing job renovating this house. Their hospitality was far the best I have experienced. They were easy to communicate with and on top of everything.
