This place was hidden, but I was a very nice setting. Enough room for everyone, good selection of beds, fire ring was nice. I've missed watching a fire like that under the stars. Location was within 1/2 hour of most everything we needed, restaurants, stores. Air conditioned. 3 hours from my home, but I would go again. Nice deck. Supplies were good. May want to bring bigger towels. Another bathroom or 1/2 bath would be good for a lot of people. I liked it!!!

Clean and cozy

This was the perfect place for us to stay for a weekend getaway, home was clean quiet area. Previous reviews yes there are train tracks close but it did not bother us, there is an area to sit outside which was nice. close to a lot of things to do in the area!

House was great, just as listed. Good parking for two boats and trucks. Good rate also.

We had a great weekend. This house is super close all the boat ramps and town.

Eclipse Trip

We loved our stay in Hidden Getaway. It was in a great location. We were able to walk downtown to restaurants and the lake easily. The small yard is great too. I wish we were in town longer to enjoy it more.

Second time staying here this year. I give it a 3C rating Clean, Comfortable, Convienent. All 5 of our senior citizen fishing group love this place

Really cute place and perfect for what we were doing. I hadnt realized it was next to buzy railroad tracks, but it thankfully it wasnt real noticeable

This is a very nice house to stay in! It was clean and has all the necessities. Plenty of parking. There were 2 adults on this trip and the house provided plenty of room to move around. Only down side is the small bathroom with no counter space.

We stayed here for a couple of days and really enjoyed it. The house was super cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed: plates, glasses, silverware, wine opener, pots and pans, towels, plus a Keurig with lots of coffee pods. The beds were really comfortable with lots of soft blankets. The area around is a little dated, but the house sits at the end of a quiet street, so it felt nice and private. Occasionally you hear a train pass by at night, but it didn’t bother us at all. Kroger is just a minute away, which was super convenient. Overall, a great spot for a short getaway!

Always Clean and Comfortable

THis is the third time for our group of 5 senior citizen kayak fisherman staying here and we always will stay here when fishing in this area. Clean, comfortable, convenient location Rental process very easy. Plenty of parking for our boat trailers. Never had any type of security issues

Better than the pictures!

First time using vrbo and the pictures said one thing but then we came inside and it was even better than the pictures. You could tell the owner puts love and effort into the property. The yard was clean, the patio was relaxing. It’s so close to the water. I would highly recommend this to people.

Great Stay

We had 4 people and were more than comfortable in the house. The house came with everything needed including a grill. There was enough parking, even for a boat trailer. The host was very personable and nice. He made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again! Thank You

Quaint and Cute

We loved this rental! Our family party had 3 couples, 1 with young kids, and it was a great space to share. The 3 separate bedrooms provided privacy but it was small enough that we got to enjoy each other by spending time in the living area and kitchen. We loved the outdoor space as well and want to spend more time out there when if we visit again. Perfect spot to stay if you’re visiting one of the islands for the day but don’t want to stay on the islands. Enjoyed yummy pizza and ice cream in town recommended by the owner in the guestbook! Great stay!!

Gem It Is!

This hidden gem is an excellent stay! I am huge on cleanliness and it was immaculate! Everything went so smooth as far as check in/ check out / finding the place / communication with the property owner/ Wi-Fi connection / parking / etc!!! We all slept very comfortably and had a great time. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you may need. The bedrooms all have plenty of room. I have nothing but positive things and thoughts to say about our stay! Absolutely perfect 🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟🤩
