We stayed at this property for two nights with our 4 children (2 adult and 2 pre-teen). The first thing I can mention is that communication with the owner, Rebecca, was easy and quick and the check-in process was remote and as easy as could be. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by a welcome gift of S’mores fixings, teas, coffees, etc and a lovely note. The house is very newly updated, immaculate, beautifully and carefully decorated and they have thought of the tiniest touches to make the stay easy and enjoyable. Unlike many rentals, everything you could possibly need was provided: bed linens, bath towels, quality toiletries, spa towels, TP, paper towels and we were even shocked to learn that the cookware provided is first-rate, not the junk pots and pans you’d normally find. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, internet TVs in every room, games, exercise equipment, washer/dryer, comfortable family living spaces, etc. The bathroom is divine- clean, new and fresh and with a massive, many-jetted tub. Aside from the home itself, we got the most use of the back deck, especially the AMAZING and very clean hot tub, the deck gas fireplace (propane provided) and very comfortable outdoor seating areas. Our younger kids took full advantage of the massive backyard and seesaw. The area where the home is located is on a mountain road with other houses nearby, but it also felt very private. We took advantage of some hiking in the area and went to Main Str Port Jervis for dinner one night but you could be beyond happy just settling in at the house the whole stay too. The owner asked for any thoughts on how to improve the home or service but I genuinely cannot think of one because they already seem to have thought of everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
