Family Vacation

Family Destination Thanksgiving
Our family rented 3 units at Barrier Dunes and this was by far the cleanest and best appointed. This beachfront unit has amazing views and easy access to the beach. The community was great and allowed our kids freedom to roam, visit with cousins at the park, fish in the lake and play lots of football on the beach. We look forward to coming back soon.

Beautiful ocean view!
Our party of 6 (2 seniors, 2 adults, 2 kids) had a wonderful time at this townhome on the beach! We loved the beautiful views - especially from the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies. Beach is just steps away. Beach chairs and toys available for the kids. Great communication with the owner. Highly recommend!

Great Location!
Great location, great beach views. Quick walk over the boardwalk and you are there. Beach is very walkable and the most dog friendly beach ever!!!! House is beautiful, clean and nicely furnished. The community is well maintained and clean. Restaurants, shops and rentals are nearby. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

Wonderful Gulf Retreat!

It was great! Great place if you have a dog. She loved the beach. People are so friendly. Lots of dog owners so it makes it nice and yet everyone seems very conscientious about their dogs behavior. It is very vertical. lots of steps. views from main deck as pictured . Good beds, updated, Great kitchen . We plan on coming back

Beautiful Townhome
We loved our stay at the Brent’s townhome. It was updated, clean and one of the most well-equipped rentals we have stayed at. The views were amazing and you cannot beat being steps from the beach. We would definitely stay again!

I WANT TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN!!
We are a regular at Barrier Dunes and have stayed at many condos, but this one tops them all! We stayed almost 2 weeks and had every type of weather there is.. From hot to cold, this condo was prepared for everything! When you walk up the stairs, you can see how beautifully updated everything is. The living room and dining room has plenty of seating for at least 6 people. The kitchen is so nicely stocked so if you forgot a seasoning, this condo probably has it! The pots and pans are very nice quality, too. The views of the beach are spectacular from the second and master levels. The master has its own AC/Heat to make you so comfortable, and while I’m talking about comfort, the bed was amazing! My husband even commented about how well he slept. We always bring a ton of beach stuff, but we could have left it at home. Everything from chairs, umbrella, and toys are supplied. We couldn’t have been more pleased with this condo and we definitely will be staying here again! The Hatchers

Winter Beach Break
This home is really wonderful and just as described (and not sure we’ve ever seen a kitchen this well stocked!) Only steps from the beach with amazing views from the beachfront bedrooms. The deck off the living room gave us a private place to sit and soak up the sun on windy days. We also really loved the location. Although we've been to the Cape several times - we had never stayed at Barrier Dunes and were definitely not disappointed. You are very close to the St Joseph’s Park (can actually walk to a nice nature trail that is just outside the gate), and the Trading Post is less than a 5 minute drive away. We would definitely stay at Katie & Kelvin’s beautiful home again!!

Excellent!
It isn’t often you find a place that allows your 4-legged friend and is clean!!!!!! My husband did the white sock test-CLEAN! Three levels of stairs, so not for those that don’t do stairs. Can’t see the beach from the main level, but beautiful views from 2nd and 3rd balcony. Hope to be back to stay again!!!

Peaceful beachfront retreat
We spent an amazing weekend in this beautiful townhome on Cape San Blas. The decor and cleanliness were impeccable. The townhome was well stocked and very well taken care of. Vety comfortable beds. Such a very spacious, beautiful four level home. We love sitting on the deck watching the ocean and really enjoyed stepping off the back deck and onto the beach sand. The beach was private and quiet. Heated pool is short walk in the development. There is a state park next to Barrier Dunes we could rent pontoon boats and kayaks. We really enjoyed the nature trail that is right across the road. A very short walk down the boardwalk and through the sand and ends up at a breathtaking paradise of a beach. We spent the entire day there. The best weekend away to unplug and relax. We will definitely be going back.

Great place right on the beach
This place is just what we needed. The house was clean, well stocked and kept, as well as updated, and well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Grill worked great for meals and this place actually has a well equipped kitchen. Our first VRBO that actually had sharp knives. Owner was responsive with any questions we had through out our stay. Right on the beach in CSB... You can't beat it. Great Stay. Thanks!

Beautiful!
Loved this property so much! Peaceful and quiet was what we needed and exactly what we got! Only negative I can think of is…lots of steps. Middle Of the night dog potty breaks, woke me completely up with the 3 flights of stairs. The location yielded many shells to shell lovers such as myself and was perfect weather. Seldom ventured off of the beach but definitely had to drive a few to get to any type of grocery/restaurant/entertainment. Hubby and friend golfed one day and loved it. Overall an excellent vacation

Great experience
This property was fantastic and everything was very easy. Owners sent over all the info we needed immediately and check in/out was as easy as it gets. The place itself was fantastic and we are already talking about a return trip. Gorgeous views in every room and plenty of space.

Spring Break with Family and Dogs
We had the most fantastic week ever at the Brents home. It is exactly as pictured, filled with anything you may ever need and things that will inspire you to try other ideas on Cape San Blas. We golfed, kayaked, had a beach bonfire, grilled, played in the pool, shopped at the Trading Post, ate at Krazyfish, Indian Pass, Weber Donuts and Coneheads. Best of all were long walks with the pups on the beach. One more thing happened that was the icing on the cake: We met a couple on the beach who said they were long term repeat visitors to Cape San Blas. They have returned many many times and have tried many many homes. Without being prompted, they said their favorite was the Brents. We smiled and knew all our homework had payed off.

Best beach rental yet
We LOVED our stay-- definitely the best overall experience we've ever had with a beach rental. One major minus-- we had to throw away our recycling that we had carefully rinsed and sorted all week when we were leaving this morning, because our van was packed to the gills. There is no option to recycle at the townhome, in the complex, or anywhere we could find on the CSB strip. Blows my mind for a community that loves the beach!

Amazing Beach Getaway!!
We loved every minute of our stay. The house is so inviting and cozy and has all the comforts of home. The proximity to the beach is perfect and the views are stunning! It's so close to the state park if you want some outdoor adventure. We'll definitely be back!

Can’t wait to return
We really enjoyed our stay at Easy Living. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The property was very clean and well kept. The only negative thing I can say is it does have a lot of stairs (very typical with most rentals at cape San Blas) this was no problem for us but I could see it being a problem for some people that have mobility issues. Overall I would highly rocommend staying at this property and would love to return one day!

Wedding weekend
I was in town with my family to celebrate my son getting married. This was a great weekend and the perfect place to stay to get some relaxation with all the festivities of the weekend. We took walks on the beach with our dog and the location was great. It was a short drive to the wedding site and we had the rehearsal dinner at a local park close by. Overall a weekend of fun and memories. The condo was well stocked and had comfy beds almost as good as home! I can’t wait to visit again!

Great Stay at a Great Condo
The condo was clean and sanitized upon arrival. Everything you needed to maintain sanitation was provided. Great location steps from the beach. Condo is updated with all the amenities needed for a great stay. Beds were very comfortable and the views from the two upstairs bedrooms were perfect. Would highly recommend this property.

We had such a great week. The Brents home is one of the cleanest and well organized places we have ever stayed. If you like to cook, there is nothing you need they don’t have. All the furnishings, appliances, and decor are up to date. The view is great as you are right on the beach and it’s a short bike ride to Conehead’s and St. Joe State Park. Kate provided us with loads of information about the property and area which was very helpful.

Great Weekend getaway!

Great place
We were two couples who have traveled together for several years, usually spending the week after Christmas at a beach location. The Brents' property at Cape San Blas did not disappoint. The kitchen was the best-equipped one that we've ever found, which is important for the two husbands who do lots of cooking during our time together. Having two king beds (*twin mattresses) was a nice amenity. The beach is clean and easy to get to. The only thing that we wished for was a clear view of the beach from the main floor. A palm tree and scrub growing on the dunes impeded the view. We understand the importance of that vegetation but wish that we'd been able to sit and enjoy a view of the surf. (We did do that but had to go up to the second floor bedroom's balcony.)

Amazing Views
My family was right at home. This property was relaxing, well organized, and we had everything at our fingertips in the kitchen. We look forward to spending time next year in this family oriented beach community at the Brent's home. Kate was delightful to visit with on the phone and very accommodating.

We had a wonderful time! It was our first visit to Cape San Blas but for certain not our last!
The Brents were very responsive to our questions prior to arriving. The unit is as advertised. The beach experience is awesome if you are looking to escape the crowds, love dog and admire sunsets.
