“Stayed in the pet friendly Cabanas, modern with everything you need for a weekend stay. The restaurant is excellent however do book in advance as it gets very busy and check your bill to ensure the deposit has been removed. We didn’t realise until the day after , it was rectified when we highlighted the mistake. All the Colleagues who work at Aberdunant are very friendly and professional. “Unfortunately whilst the rest of the country was at the start of a heat wave this area was under cloud & rain for most of our 4 day stay!! The location is great for the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways being about 5mins away and for the centre of Porthmadoc. The layout of the property is a bit strange. “Clean and spacious for us (couple in late 20s). Good kitchen and cooking space with all utensils provided. The beds were comfy too. The sofas were leather and not very comfortable but we tried to be out and about as much as we could. No towels were provided Because of covid so we had to buy some as all of the information said they would be supplied and we didn’t bring any.”
