Reception staff were very efficient when the room was ready they showed us to the room. The pool staff were excellent kept the area clean and tidy and were really friendly. The apartment was kept clean and tidy plenty of towels.

Excellent location to the old town, restaurants, marina and beach. The staff at reception and cleaning were pleasant and very helpful. The only draw back is the dated furniture which needs updating. It is definitely better to park outdoors than the garage which is very tight to get out.
The beach is incredible!

Arrival after hotel reception closed but was able to check in at the attached hostel reception by prior arrangement. Very well equipped apartment, especially regarding cooking utensils, very good if you are planning to cook. Apparently there is garage parking but we left the car on the road, plenty of free parking. Pool is clean and in good repair, attended, the lifeguards are good guys, helpful. The apartment location has loads of restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity, there is a large Intermarche supermarket literally across the road from our apartment (203) and apartment downstairs below our balcony. Double glazing is good at keeping out most of the bar/traffic noise if you are a light sleeper. Air Con machine in both the bedroom and also the living area. Balcony has a couple of chairs and a small table, gets the sun in the afternoon. There are two lifts, but only one was working. The beach is about 10-15 minutes walk away, it's sand and there are beds/umbrellas you can rent if you wish. Also have lifeguards if that is of concern. Alvor is a nice place to wander around, doesn't seem 'moody' and was happy walking round late. We had a Coffee machine (make is Delta) you can get pods in intermarche or Spar around the corner. The cleaners were around each day, always smelled clean down the hall ways and entrance. I'd recommend the place.

The kitchen was fully equipped had a full size fridge freezer and even had a washing machine if you wanted to use it. There was plenty of clean linen and towels. The pool area was excellent plenty of sunbeds. Jose and Pedro who looked after the pool area were very attentive and made sure they looked after you.

We had a very pleasant stay at Dunas Alvor. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean – a big compliment to the housekeeping team! The location is also excellent: a big supermarket around the corner and just a short walk from both the beach and the town center, making it a perfect base for a relaxing holiday. What really stood out was the exceptionally friendly and helpful reception staff – always welcoming and ready to assist with anything. All in all, a great stay with good value for money!

We had a wonderful time at Dunas do Alvor, pool is absolutely great and run so well by the 2 lifeguards. Sabastian was one of the guys (probably have that wrong) and cant think of other mans name, but both were just great. Sharon at the reception was so helpful and went out of her way to help us with anything we needed.

Just great!

Convenient location, well maintained, spacious lounge and kitchen, well equipped, large separate bedroom. Friendly welcome from attentive staff. Easy parking. Short walk to boardwalk, beach and restaurants. Use of marble gives upmarket appearance.

The location is great for everything, in a lovely complex with bars and restaurants. 10 minute walk to beach and the same to the centre of town. The apartment was nice and had everything you should need, even a washing machine. Bathroom look ready for a cosmetic upgrade, mirror surround crated. Nothing that spoilt our holiday and we would definitely book again. Cleaners came every 3 days and kept on top of bedding and towels etc.

We would have given everything 5 star's if we had an apartment on the top floor, as nearly every night we were disturbed by people above moving furniture across the room.

We had a great time on south coast of Portugal and big part of that was Torralvor apartment, it had everything we needed for comfortable stay. Fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, big fridge and it was cleaned to good standard. 5 min away you can find excellent walkways over the marshes by the see, which is refreshing in the early morning, the sea is 10 minutes away with its beautiful extended beach with some rock formations for photos. Don’t forget to visit Lagos as well, simply beautiful town.

Great customer service

Reception staff really pleasant and helpful. Some parts of the exterior needs some attention especially near the garden view. The pool area is kept clean and tidy and the 2 guys who look after it were very friendly and attentive. Overall the customer experience was really good

I stayed with my daughter in a small apartment for 8 days in February . Location is very convenient, 10 min walking to the beach. The people in the office is very nice to deal with and helpful. You can find everything you need in the kitchen, enough towels, and very handy to have a washing machine. We'll definitely come back and highly recomed this place.
