“This was a lovely little cottage. Very comfortable and the owners were great. It was in the middle of no where and was so peaceful, made perfect with the beautiful horses in the field at the bottom of the garden who always came over to see us all and put dog. The kids could wander and often went trekking in the fields searching for the different wildlife. Will certainly be back. ”

Good communication when required, but the visit went smoothly so it was just for the welcome in this case. Will definitely be staying here again.”

“123 Fortuneswell is great for tbose of us who want to explore an area and feel part of a community. FORTUNESWELL is ideal for its amazing outstanding natural beauty the views are really amazing. The cottage is set in the village near to amenities. You only have to walk down the hill to the promenade which has 2 superb eating venues .the cottage is by 2 brilliant bus services to portland and Weymouth really easy .We had no problem parking just down the road. Fortuneswell is a beautiful village...

“We really enjoyed our stay. The ground floor is perfect for a large group with a well equipped kitchen, cozy lounge and a dining room which easily seats 14/15 adults. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and nearly all with en-suites. The house is well located within easy reach of Dorchester, Bridport and the coast. Highly recommended.”

“We had a lovely stay, the property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The location for us was great, if you like walking then highly recommend. Within 40 minutes drive there is a large number of places to visit and the village has everything you need. Pub within a couple of minutes walk as well as shops for supplies. Would happily stay here again.”

“This house was perfect for our family of 12 including 6 children from 2 - 18 years and 2 dogs with loads of space, super comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms and garden space. The facilities were brilliant and everyone enjoyed the pool table. Within easy reach of many beautiful Dorset beaches, forests and Monkey World, which was a great family day out.”

“We had a wonderful long weekend at Armswell House. The house is stunning. Everything was catered for and everyone felt instantly at home. We all loved the walks around the area and watching the cows on the farm. Wish we could've stayed longer. PS the Victoria sponge was delicious!”

“Nice place and have been twice now but I have to be honest that I was shocked at damp and mould on walls/ceiling and around patio doors in back bedroom. No problems anywhere else in property with damp. If this property has a cleaner coming in to turn it around then I think they need to be spoken too, as when you look close it’s not great. I would return if things improved as it a lovely setting and location”

“We were meet by lesley at the bungalow after letting her know rough time we would arrive. She had put the heater on to warm us up as it was wet and cold out. She showed us around it has everything you would need for a get away. Fresh clean towels nice fresh bedding on all the beds. Milk and water in the fridge,.She even managed to save us a trip to Weymouth to get gluten-free fish and chips by recommending a local place that delivered. And they were great fresh thick chips. Nice quite location...
