  • The California Condor was a common sight along the Columbia River in Lewis and Clark's day. By the early 1980's, there were only twenty-two left on the face of the planet, all in California. Today, thanks to a massive effort to re-populate the species via in-captivity pairing, there are some two-hundred members. But their recovery is far from assured. The Oregon Zoo has undertaken its own recovery effort whose ultimate goal is the re-introduction of the species into the protected wilderness area around the Columbia River Gorge. In short, to bring them home. For now, they live out their days in a vast, outdoor aviary designed specifically to mimic their habitat in the wild. If you have never seen one up close before, I urge you to come take a look. They are larger than any flying bird you will ever see, unless you go to Peru. And though black and white practically from head to toe, their plumage shines and reflects the light like dark, polished metal. If that doesn't suit your fancy, I will tell you that, as with all big birds, if you wait around long enough, they will do something so awe-inspiring that it will take your breath away, and something so goofy that you will laugh out loud. Great communication and location

Check-in and out was super simple, and communication with the owner was great. We were short on a couple of supplies and they were delivered to us right away. The neighborhood is wonderful, and the home was clean and as advertised. Will stay here again if the opportunity arises!

Lovely house, centrally located to many activities. Only complaint is we had 3 days of temps over 90. The ac could not keep up and the upstairs was very warm. Fans were available, but was still uncomfortable uostairs. All in all, a very good experience

Reasonable and Comfortable

We were in town for a state swim meet at tualatin Hills, and we’re looking for somewhere that was quiet and comfortable for our daughter to rest and recover between sessions and in the evening. This property met all of our needs! We were very pleased and will likely visit again when we are in town for another swim meet in the near future!

Great stay

My friends and I were in town for a dance convention, this home was the perfect size for our group, it’s well maintained, and the addition of the hot tub was wonderful to relax in after long days of dancing. We would happily stay here again.

Home away from home

The house and property were exactly as advertised. Centrally located between Beaverton and Hillsboro, with great restaurants all around. The house was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was well maintained. We would absolutely stay here again.

Sky-High Foyer & Spa Rental

Our stay at the Sky-High Rental was perfect for our family stay in the Portland area. Our group was well accommodated and it was great to have the hot tub for an evening soak. The beds and linens were comfy. Plenty of space for everyone and the driveway parking with garage access was great.

We loved this little place. We threw a 13th birthday party and went to next level and the airsoft place. We enjoyed how close everything was, grocerys, food delivery, recreation. The hot tun was nice for us adults and the living space was so cozy. record player was a fun
