Great stay!

Cute little apartment and convenient location for many of the tourist destinations. The host was very communicative, helpful with both check in and also for assisting with transportation and recommendations!

Short vacation in Porto

My wife and I very much enjoyed our two day stay in Porto in August 2023. The only hiccup was that the taxi driver who the property had tasked to pick us up at the train station never arrived to do so, so we just took our own taxi to the property after waiting for the original guy for about 40 minutes. That was not the property's fault, however. Once we did arrive we found Luisa, who runs the property with her sister, Ligia, to be extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was large and beautiful, and the property located very centrally near all things touristy, so it was very easy to walk to everything we wanted to see. The property itself was extremely clean and well kept up. We travel frequently and appreciate it when this level of care is taken of a property and of the guests at the property. We don't say this of all places we've stayed, but we would defintely stay here again. Thank you Ligia and Luisa for providing us with a wonderful stay!

Perfect Pad in Porto

Looking for an adorable private apartment with a fancy hotel feeling? This the place! From our first contact with Luisa to our final goodbyes, we were treated like old friends coming for a visit. She sent a driver to pick us up at the train station, meet us when we arrived, and left a carafe of Port wine and some snacks on the kitchen table. This cosy apartment is full of light and beautifully decorated with everything you need for a comfortable stay: a warm and comfy bed, tiny but functional kitchen, and the BEST shower in all of Portugal. Sao Miquel is located in the historic Ribeiro section of Porto and within walking distance to pretty much everything you'd want to see in this great and artful city. (Remember to bring comfy shoes and embrace the hills. You'd need to walk off all the pastries you'll eat!) When we said our goodbyes, Luisa presented us with a hug and a parting gift, a traditional Azuleja tile matching to outside tile of the apartment building. It was the end to a perfect vacation.

Stay in Porto

We very much enjoyed our stay in Porto and the apartment was perfect for our needs. Luisa was incredibly helpful and answered any questions we asked. We couldn't have been happier. Porto is a great place and we hope to come again.

A Perfect Choice for You

I could not have chosen a more perfect apartment in Porto. It was everything it was advertised to be and more. Perfect location, perfect accommodation and perfect hosts. There is everything you need in the neighborhood and the apartment is perfectly located between the river below and the city above. The apartment itself was cheery, very clean and everything worked perfectly. The hosts were fantastic. They were so friendly and helpful. I miss them already. Aloha

Great short trip to Porto

I had a great stay in Porto! Especially that the apartment was in a central but quiet neighbourhood. The communication with Luisa was great and very quick. When I come back to Porto I will definitely stay again with Luisa and Ligia :)

Lovely property - excellent host

A clean and bright apartment right in the heart of Porto. Our host Luisa was always on hand if we needed anything and made us feel very welcome. We’d definitely recommend a stay here for anyone looking to visit Porto.

Emplacement idéal

Le logement est conforme aux photos et à la description. Notre logement donnait sur la rue, effectivement c'est calme cependant comme il n'y a pas de climatisation, si vous ouvrez les fenêtres le bruit est présent. C'est le seul bémol à ce logement. La salle de bain montre des signes d,usure : la poignée de la porte nous est restée dans la main, la ventilation ne fonctionnait pas et des traces d'humidité apparait en haut du mur de la douche. Si vous venez en voiture, faites attention à l'une des voisines qui est prête à appeler la police si vous stationner même pour décharger vos valises, Si vous utilisez le parking 72 heures pour 20 euros, il faut absolument payer à votre arrivée dans le parking sinon il facture à l'heure (nous en avons fait l'expérience et c'est très cher!!!)

Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Wir hatten das kleine Appartement im 1.OG mit Fenstern zur Straße. Alles sehr sonnig, für Ende September optimal. Die Wohnung (1F) ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit allem Comfort. Alles sehr sauber, nette Vermieterin, wir waren sehr zufrieden. Dazu kommt die wunderbare Lage mitten in der Stadt, alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Viele nette Restaurants herum (reservieren vorher nicht vergessen). Also alles TOP und unsere Empfehlung!

Location Location Location

My husband and I loved this place and loved Porto. The owner was so nice and friendly and met us later during the day for the check in. She also gave us a lot of recommendations about where to go where to eat. We loved being part of the city since we were close to everything. We enjoyed walking everywhere. Only thing we would have liked would have been AC but it cleary states that in the listing so we knew ahead of time.

Perfect location

We loved our stay! The location was perfect for all activities on both sides of the river. We felt safe and were offered ample information for activities and food/drink. The apartment really is as picture perfect as is it listed on VRBO and the renters are very sweet and helpful. Thank you for the lovely stay in Porto - we can't wait to come back!

Luisa the host for our apartment was extremely helpful arranging atxi from the airport and meeting us on arrival providing very helpful information on Porto and the apartment itself. the apartment met all our needs though if it is hot during the time of your stay be aware there is no air con. Porto is a beautiful and compact city though lots of walking and steep hills. lots of excellent restaurants and cafes to choose from with prices very competitive away from the river front. We enjoyed our stay and will return.
