“We stayed here a couple of times recently and have enjoyed our stay on each occasion. The hotel is comfortable with great sea views from some rooms. The staff are very friendly and have made us feel very welcome.”

“Staff friendly and very attentive. Room clean and view over the harbour was brilliant. Breakfast excellent. We were lucky enough to park across from the hotel. Shower a bit small and pressure not that good but did the purpose.”

“Visiting southern Scotland, this location and quaint harbor town met our needs. The hotel is fine - well located and perfect for visiting this town and part of Scotland. Our room was large with no issues. Restaurant and service similarly fine with no complaints . Price was very reasonable I felt compared to other options - I’d recommend and would give it 2.5 to 3 star rating ”

“The hotel and staff were excellent they did their very best. However it is GROSSLY understaffed. and it shows. I felt particularly the resteraunt service was very slow just because it was understaffed. They did there best but were stretched. Tea & coffee were served in identicle pots and the crosover flavours were obvious”

“Lodge was incredible inside and out. Hot tub was amazing and feels very private which we enjoyed. Good place for pets too with private garden. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay and may well be back in the future! ”
