Villa Ibiscus antigua villa a 50 m sobre el mar en el corazón de Positano

Típica casa vertical. Contexto geográfico ideal, tranquilo, terrazas (unos 100m2) con impresionantes vistas inolvidables del mar, Praiano, Torri di Positano, Isola dei Galli. Arquitectura de estilo sarraceno. Suelos: terracota cortada a mano, cerámica napolitana antigua. Muebles de época con todas las comodidades. Tres terrazas amuebladas con mesas (incluida una mesa para 10 personas) y plantas, flores, pérgolas, jarrones y jarras antiguas. Un balcón. Todo con vistas de 180 grados al mar. Planta superior: dormitorio doble (cama de 1,6x2,0 m) con balcón, aire acondicionado y baño propio; habitación twin (0.9x2.0mt) con terraza (mesa con 4 sillas y tumbona), aire acondicionado y baño propio, posibilidad de unir las dos camas individuales para obtener una tercera cama doble. Planta intermedia: dormitorio doble (cama de 1,6x2,0 m), aire acondicionado y baño propio; sala; las habitaciones acceden a una amplia terraza con mesa con 5 sillas, 2 tumbonas, 2 tumbonas. Posibilidad de añadir una 8ª cama (extrabed 0,8x1,9 m) por una tarifa (150 euros / semana) que se colocará en la habitación con dos camas en el piso superior. Planta baja: sala, comedor, habitación individual (cama de 0.9x2m), baño, cocina. Todas las habitaciones de la planta baja dan a una gran terraza con mesa para 8-10 personas, 2 tumbonas). La cocina está equipada con nevera / congelador, lavavajillas, lavadora, cocina de gas de 60x90cm con 5 fuegos y gran horno eléctrico. Aire acondicionado en los dos pisos superiores. El alquiler incluye sábanas y toallas (cambio semanal), gas, Wi-Fi y limpieza final. Fianza requerida a la llegada de 400 euros. De esto se deducirán los gastos de electricidad (0,5 euros / KW), la tasa turística municipal (importes de 2022: 1,5 euros / persona por día (2023: 2.5 euro), excluidos los niños menores de 10 años) y cualquier daño.

Incredible home I can not recommend enough

Roberto's home was nothing short of a dream during our stay in Positano. Of all our visits, this was the best place we stayed and we can't wait to return again! Beside the villa's historic charm, the location is hard to beat. I recommend this stay to anyone traveling either as a couple or with a bigger group.

Unbelievable views!

Our family of seven enjoyed our week at the villa. The entire villa was just beautiful and we never got sick of the sea views. The property is very comfortable for seven adults. We had plenty of space to have group time as well as privacy.The property caretakers Marco and Maria did so much to make our stay enjoyable and fun. We enjoyed getting to know them. Take Marco up on his offer to book some dinner reservations as we always received great service and food going with his choices. Maria also cooked an amazing meal for us at the villa one night.Best vacation ever!

Breathtaking Retreat in Positano

My family of 6 stayed here for a week. It was breathtakingly beautiful; the villa & the town! The villa had plenty of room for all of us with an extra bedroom we didn’t use. The balconies are wonderful and lent themselves to many glasses of wine, card games and meals outside. The kitchen had what we needed for our visit. We cooked many nights. Warning that Positano has many, many steps!! You really need to be fit to navigate the town & the steps. I highly recommend this villa for families and small groups. Lots of air conditioning on all 3 levels too!

The Villa was beautiful. Very spacious with 3 floors. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The terraces were breathtaking, worth the stay alone. Roberto and Maria were very helpful and made our stay a pleasant one. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

Unreal views from a beautiful villa!

Our group of 3 couples loved this villa, beautiful inside with antique furniture and tiles, lots of space for gathering or privacy. We loved sitting on the balconies watching the water. The location is close to beaches, shopping and restaurants, expect everything to be up or down cobble stone steps.

Wonderful Location

Perfect location. The villa worked very well for 2 couples! Loved all the terraces! Definitely not a place for anyone much over 70 unless you are physically fit (but that’s pretty much true of Positano in general). Maria did a great job promptly answering our questions and arranging our departure. We had a fantastic time.

Stunning Villa

We loved this villa so much - each bedroom has its own floor, patio, and bath. It's very private and all the views are breathtaking. The antique furnishings are gorgeous. The location is perfect - not far above the ferry and main beach. We hired Marco to give us a tour and it was one of the highlights of our trip. He had wonderful recommendations as well and helped us coordinate our transportation.

Our Positano Vacation

The villa was beautiful. The location was perfect and the property owner, Roberto was very helpful. More importantly, Maria Delores and Marco, the property managers were fantastic. They were kind, caring people who took the best care of us. No request went unfulfilled with Marco and Maria. I would go back to positano just to have dinner with them. This was the best place to stay in all of Positano.

We loved the location…. Beautiful views. The shower was a bit intermittent between hot and cold …. Otherwise everything was great. We had to pay quite a bit for electricity which we haven’t had before It has all been included elsewhere.

Roberto and his team of Maria and Marco are the perfect hosts. They worked hard to make our stay warm, inviting and as comfortable as home. They arranged for cars, porters and excursions as requested. The dream team! We loved our stay immensely and hope to be back soon! Grazie! 😃

Authentic Italian Casa

Although the VRBO pictures show this place with beautiful setting, it’s not until you first open the door do you realize how incredibly beautiful the setting is over looking the Mediterranean Sea. The location is perfect with restaurants above and below the location. Roberto’s place is just what you would imagine an Italian home to be. Maria was also very helpful setting up our day trip to Pompei. This was our first time to Italy and this place made our family experience perfect. Be sure to book early.

Great Location

Loved the location and the amazing views. There was a lack of communication with Maria the manager and also Marco was supposed to come by and give us some ideas of what to do in the area but he never showed up. I just wish the communication was better.

Perfect stay at villa Ibiscus! Great tour with local guide Marco! Close to beach and town. Perfecto!

Villa Ibiscus was terrific. Super close to 2 public beaches in town. And very close to shops and restaurants. Lovely view from all bedrooms and porches over the water . Enjoyed watching the yaughts and boats come into harbor from our deck. Big rooms , lovely kitchen, great common areas in the house. Maria set us up with Marco - as local guide and a smart man who took us for a day trip to explore Amalfi coasts best shops , Resturant’s and ceramic shops. Great communication with house manager and house owner. Lots of steps to get anywhere in Positano . To be expected. But all around a perfect vacation.

Positano is a one-off place, extraordinary and beautiful. The villa has wonderful views over the village and the sea from three balconies. It is well equipped, spacious and the air con is very effective. The owner was outstandingly helpful, giving excellent recommendations and advice. Also the arrival person Maria Delores was very helpful and kind too. It was a special birthday, and we all had the most wonderful celebration - couldn't recommend it more highly - just be aware this is a vertical property in a famously vertical town, so clearly you need a degree of fitness and good mobility to visit.

Wonderful Sea View Villa with even Better Hospitality

We had the best time at this property. The location is fantastic, steps below the main road. As others have mentioned, there are a good amount of steps to get to the beach, but it is so worth the trip, and the views both going up and down are worth every step. My wife was 5 months pregnant during our stay and she was able to do it no problem. Roberto was friendly and responsive weeks leading up to the trip, and even arranged a private car to and from the Villa from Naples where we flew in from. Maria met us in person when we arrived and gave us a detailed walkthrough of the home and its amenities, as well as recommendations of things to do and places to eat during our stay. The views from the Villa are outstanding. Each of the three patios have breathtaking views of the sea and Praiano; the soft city lights at night were just as amazing as the sun in the morning. I highly recommend this home for your next stay in Positano, you will not be disappointed.

"We (5 persons) have stay...

"We (5 persons) have stayed a week in November 2006 in this villa. Villa Ibiscus and the village of Positano were both picture perfect. You want to stay forever . We liked the layout with the three floors. The kitchen, baths, bedrooms and other living areas were  well above adequate. The views from all of the balconies were the most impressive part of the Villa. The furnishings were really elegant and antique. The weather in November was amazingly perfect. We truly enjoyed a day trip to Ravello . . . an extraordinarily beautiful town. Pompei was also a worthy day trip, and crowds were low in off season.  We wish to thank our cousin Attilio for choosing this wonderful place for our vacations and the owner Roberto for his kindness and responsiveness.  We loved the villa and would return in a minute " "

Great experience!

The property location is just a short 90 steps below the main road and only 300 additional down to the beach. Sounds crazy I know but, we were guests ages 68-72 and navigated with no problem. GREAT LOCATION! Check in was smooth with Maria meeting us at the road. Marco came to talk with us about what we wanted to experience while in Positano and was so very helpful. He arranged a boat for a half day, gave us good insight for out hike on The Path of the Gods, accompanied us on a day trip to Capri and he and Maria came and made dinner for us on our last night in town. It was yummy and very much appreciated since our ride was coming to get us at 3:00AM. The patios outside the Villa are wonderful. They provide a great view of boat action and teal blue of the water is mesmerizing. We loved everything about the Villa and Positano. Ruth

Fabulous!

The villa has 4 bedrooms each with a separate bathroom and balcony. The views from The balconies were worth it! The Villa hosts Maria and Marco were fantastic and gave us many recommendations for restaurants and excursions. They also helped coordinate private transfers to and from The Naples airport as well as additional Excursions. We had the most amazing time! The villa is 264 steps to the main beach in Positano. Be aware of the steps. Maria arranged for a luggage porter that cost $10 a bag! Well Worth it. You do have to pay for electricity in the villa for your stay. We stayed in August when it was super hot! We used AC at night. Our electricity bill for 9 days was $86z Overall, we would go back and stay in this villa in a second. Gorgeous!
