Villa Lighea is located in one of the most beautiful and fashionable areas of Positano, the small village on the Amalfi Coast famous for its uniqueness and beauty. As John Steinbeck once put it: “Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you are gone.”

The villa is a quintessential Positano building where the influence of Byzantine architecture has been seamlessly blended with the skillful craftsmanship of contemporary local artisans. It features arches, vaults, and niches that stand out against the pastel sky-blue majolica tiles.

The view is simply breathtaking—with the entire bay of Positano spread out before your eyes. All bedrooms and terraces overlook the Mediterranean; the famous Li Galli (Sirens’ Island) lies directly in front of you, and Positano itself is to your right.

The villa itself has 5 bedrooms (either double or twin), and there is a sixth bedroom (apartment) right next to the villa in the same residence, which is available. All bedrooms have a sea view, are furnished in a Mediterranean style, feature en suite bathrooms, and have a small balcony. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a safe, a hair dryer, mosquito nets, and Wi-Fi. We decided not to include TVs in the bedrooms—the view is simply too beautiful to be “overshadowed” by other images. Listen to the sound of the waves and your favorite music using the iPod docks provided in all the bedrooms.

The living room is spacious and features a panoramic veranda terrace overlooking the sea. It is furnished with comfortable sofas and a large dining table, perfect for lively dinners together. There is also a large flat-screen satellite TV, as well as an audio/DVD system and wireless Internet (available throughout the residence and garden area).

The kitchen, adjacent to the living room, is professional-grade and fully equipped. You can enjoy cooking your own meals or hire a professional chef for a full day or a special event.

The villa has two floors and is surrounded by beautiful terraces and gardens. Relax in a Jacuzzi or simply lounge on the garden sun deck.

The closest beach is Arienzo, which is just a few minutes’ walk down the stairs. There you’ll find a lovely family-run restaurant where you can enjoy a freshly cooked traditional lunch, rent a sunbed, or take a water taxi to the main beach in Positano.

The center of Positano is just one kilometer away from the villa and can be easily reached by public transportation (the bus stop is right across from the villa), taxi, or by taking a pleasant, picturesque stroll (about 20 minutes).
