Quiet 1 bedroom cabin located on the South Fork of the Coquille River

  • Covid19 info: All surfaces cleaned with disinfectant and all soft surfaces sprayed with Lysol spray. We have left Lysol/bleach wipes/hand sanitizer for renters . We fully remodeled this 1 bedroom 1 bath cabin located just feet from the Southfork of the Coquille River located in Powers, Oregon. The only thing original is the curtains in the kitchen and the 60s pull down lamp over the table! Enjoy the peaceful sound of the river while hiking, biking, hunting and fishing in beautiful Southwestern Oregon. Rental comes with microwave, refrigerator, and furnished kitchen. There is no range but does have a gas BBQ and hot plate for cooking. One bedroom with queen bed and two twin beds in front room. Has sleeping bench to accommodate one extra person.

The cabin is clean and cozy, located next to a river with gorgeous views, and we enjoyed being able to grill outdoors and cook comfort foods indoor.

We absolutely adore the Honey Badger Ranch Cabin as it includes a secluded and peaceful environment next to the Coquille River with a little waterfall to enjoy the stunning views. The drive is long but enjoyable as you pass by lots of historical locations and gorgeous farms lands. Located nearby is a local park, a cute small town with a restaurant, library and a market for last minute shopping needs. The cabin includes everything you need, is kid & pet friendly and very polite & responsive host. Wifi included, as well as a small DVD player in the TV with plenty of movies as well as family games to play. Options for outdoor cooking, fishing and river walks to enjoy time out in nature. Multiple beds for families/company, full-sized fridge and appliances to cook minus a stove/oven which wasn't required. The host includes a very descriptive binder including all the instructions and local activities. Highly recommend this lovely cabin for the perfect peaceful getaway. 10/10

Very cozy cabin, with lots and lots of clever and creative design features. Bed was very comfortable, towels were soft and plentiful. In addition, this VRBO property was the best-stocked place we've ever stayed in: They had a huge inventory of toiletries, they had snacks and chips, and they had all the basics (coffee, oil, dressings, etc.) in the kitchen. All in all, this is just a lovely place to stay.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely time in Powers Or, such a hidden gem with all the gorgeous water falls. The cabin was clean and cozy and fit our needs. Would be a lovely place for a family to stay.
