Nuestra casa está preparada para sentirse relajado. Nos gusta el aire fresco, por lo que hay un sistema hrv que constantemente mueve aire fresco a través de la casa. Tenemos una piscina y no nos gusta el cloro, por lo que es una piscina de agua salada y a veces preferimos nadar en el lago. Nos gusta la tranquilidad, por lo que la casa se encuentra a 800 pies de distancia de la carretera por un bosque lleno de pájaros que retroceden hacia West Lake. A veces nos gusta tener incendios nocturnos, por lo que hay un pozo de fuego en el patio trasero. Si te gusta leer, o yoga, o cocinar, o mirar las estrellas, este es un gran lugar para hacer esas cosas o simplemente para relajarte.

Very nice stay! The property was clean and had all facilities needed. Situated very close to sandbanks provincial Park and two season passes were provided. Would recommend!

Good house, great location

Our family and friends stayed for seven nights, with children aged 3/7/9, and five adults, for a total of eight people. We had a very pleasant stay! The owners were clear in their communications and made sure to make contact after we'd checked-in, and also sent reminders the day before check-out.The kitchen is pretty functional (especially compared to other Vrbo's we have stayed in) with lots of cooking gadgets that might be older but work fine. The stove/oven/microwave are great and the oven heats quickly. There is a filtered tap for drinking if you don't enjoy the well water out of the normal tap. The fridge is spacious which helped us with meal planning for the week. The dishwasher worked great.The bbq is really a great feature and should be mentioned more on the listing. The pool area is clean and functional, though one of the lounge chairs was falling apart (which I'm sure will be replaced soon). The pool is salt water, which is so nice, and stays quite warm with the solar heating. There is a deep end and a shallow end to the pool; it has stairs, a ladder, and a diving board. The pool area also has a screened-in eating area which was nice to enjoy a few times when the weather was pleasant, to have a bite with fewer bugs. There are pool floats and noodles for use, as well.Overall, a great stay with a great location, if you like a quiet time away that's near the dunes.

Beautiful house, great location

We had a wonderful stay here! The house is very well-equipped, and had everything we needed to cook and enjoy days and evenings by the pool and relaxing inside. The house is huge (especially coming from our small houses in England!), and felt very luxurious. The owners kindly provided Sandbanks passes, and we spent the day on the beautiful beach. We didn't do much else in the area, as we were enjoying being in the house, but the owners had provided information about lots going on in Prince Edward County.

Great place to stay, very quiet, and close to sandbanks

Had a fabulous time, place was great. There was a webcam overlooking the pool which was not mentioned in the listing or house manual, which did put us off using the pool. However overall it was excellent.

Perfect getaway

Laura and Craig were the perfect hosts. Needed help manoeuvring the TV and we got a quick response. Beds are very comfortable. The fresh air system is amazing and the home was very clean. Gorgeous spa like bathroom, private and beautiful property. The pool was perfect for the 30* temperatures. Thank you both for making my 1st VRBO experience a great one! Hope to book for next summer again,. Next time I’ll book sand banks well in advance.

Wonderful retreat in the county

Beautiful property, super clean and stylish with a great swimming oasis on an amazing property. The only draw back (and no one’s fault) is that at the end of the driveway, highway 12 is a mini-401, with obnoxious tourist flying by. Not conducive for strolls or bike rides. I would recommend this lovely place as long as you aren’t looking for remote PEC-ness!

Family time in the County

Lovely vacation home in Westlake. Centrally located with short drives to our favourite spots in Sandbanks, Picton, Bloomfield etc. Kids had loads of fun in saltwater pool which was clean and warm. Appreciated access to summer lettuces & host was very accessible. Highly recommend for families.

Perfect Getaway

Perfect location and clean property for Sandbanks

Overall our stay was very enjoyable. A quick 5 minute drive to Sandbanks and great amenities at the home - fire pit, outdoor pool, plenty of lounging area etc. The home is exactly as per the listing and well maintained. Craig and Laura were very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. Everything was a breeze. A nice getaway from the City without having to travel too too far. My family had a wonderful time.

Best time in Prince Edward County!

Two couples with one kid each, stayed at this delightful property from July 27-August 3. Everything was great. The house is so bright, with beautiful big plants in the living space. The backyard is a a dream; just like a resort, but private. We seriously wanted for nothing. We just relaxed and explored the county. Thanks so much!

Beautiful pool and comfortable beds

The house is beautifully decorated and clean! The pool was wonderful in this heat and beautiful to lounge by with a drink! The beds were amazingly comfortable. The only thing I could think about for improvement is the amount of wasps outside- I'm not sure if there was a nest hiding somewhere - but there was the remnants of one in the umbrella when I opened It. Also the patio furniture needed some major wiping down before we were able to use it. Otherwise it was a wonderful property with a beautiful pool- perfect for a girls weekend!

Excellent place to get away

Laura and Craig, thank you so much for welcoming us at your amazing property. While the pictures on VRBO are nice, they don't do justice to your place! It is so private and peaceful...we never saw a car go down the street or saw any people while on the property...just what the doctor ordered! We were lucky enough to have warm weather, and so cooling off in the pool was a huge bonus. The couch in the main room claimed the awakeness of several people each night, so cozy! And all the bedrooms were very clean with very comfortable beds. A few pieces of advice: - put a picture of your grill on VRBO! We were a little nervous it would be small or dirty and we had aspirations of cooking a big dinner of grilled meat and veges for 8. It did not disappoint! Lots of space, nice second rack, and man that thing got hot fast! - clarify the directions a bit...according to GPS the street you're on is a little up the road...all three cars arriving made a wrong turn. Not a big deal, just a tip :-) - In the 2nd bedroom with the King size bed, there are two windows. The smaller window does not have a shade. Granted it is small and a unique shape, so not much light got in, but for someone like me who craves blackout blinds, it would be nice to have an option to cover that window. Overall we are extremely happy and will look to your property first the next time we return to the county. All the best, Rick

We loved this daily vacation home!

So close to everything! Spacious and welcoming. The pool is fantastic. It was super easy to drive to all the hotspots... the dunes, shopping and exploring. Perfect location. The hosts provided great tips for places to see and how to get around. You can have lazy days and then you can have a busy Beach and shopping day. This vacation home is a dream! Thank you so much for sharing your home😊

Great place

We loved the house and pool, nicely finished home, in a quiet area. Just a few too many stairs for access to the rear yard. Will definitely consider renting again in the future.
