“The cabin is lovely and well stocked. They’ve thought of everything. It was a cozy option near several tourist attractions and drivable (1 hour) to even more. It is a quiet location with two cabins. Nice hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor porch areas too. We enjoyed the on property trail and nearby hikes like the Endless Wall and Gorge. “The house was very cute and had everything we needed for our stay. It was difficult to find the driveway, but the host Wendy gave us excellent directions. Walkable to all the restaurants and a short drive to the visitor's center for New River Gorge National Park. There is another visitor center about 45 minutes away, but it was not a bad drive. “The property is an affordable option if you want to visit New River Gorge and not pay hundreds per night at the resort or tent camp in order to do so. For the price you get a clean, air conditioned place to stay with a basic kitchen and great shower, which is perfect for after a day of hiking or other activities. You can't walk to get anywhere and it's a 15-20 minute drive into town, so just plan accordingly. The host is very responsive and helpful. ”
