Great home for a getaway!
We stayed here over Christmas and had a lovely time in this cozy cabin. The kitchen was great, had everything we needed, and the living room and dining room were spacious enough for the eight of us. The beds were comfy, and the game room was a great place for everyone to gather and play cards, darts, and more. Had a great time!

Great Weekend
The cabin was a great place for a long weekend with family. Many large spaces for people to visit in. The game room came in very handy on a rainy day. Cabin was clean, spacious and well equipped. Beautiful sunsets over the lake. Perfect getaway close to the cities.

A comfortable stay for family wedding weekend
We enjoyed the amenities offered. It was great to have a place to have 3 families stay together for our son’s wedding which was just 10 minutes from the venue. Enjoyed seeing several eagles from the dock. Beautiful views, serene and quiet area. We would recommend to others!

Beautiful lake home!
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful lake home! Charming and clean interior, fun game room, and stunning views of the lake. Our kids had fun swimming and kayaking. The water near the shore and dock was a bit weedy, but we took the paddle boat out a little ways and were able to spend hours swimming. The lilly pad was a huge hit! There are stairs to head down to the water which were a little difficult for my mother to navigate. Overall, a fun and relaxing few days!

Beautiful Views
The property and location was perfect for our 2 families and pup. The property was very spacious and had beautiful views from almost every room. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, the paddle boat, lily pad and bonfires but most of all the eagles flying overhead and landing in the tree above the home. The communication with the property manager was incredible, they were quick to respond and were able to provide us with specific necessities for everyone. The stairs down to the lake were a little daunting with a 9 month old but once we made it down, we had a blast. Overall, I’d recommend this place to anyone and would definitely come back.

Better in person than photos- a truly lovely place to stay!
Stayed for an out of town girlfriends very long weekend together, great place! Just as described, but far more beautiful in person. Eagles were right above cabin- so cool to watch them. Bring floats to go past weeds and swim further out- we swam every day. So many thoughtful touches, great decor, so much room. Well worth the price. We will be back! Best cabin (let’s be real- it’s a lovely lake home!) I’ve ever rented. :)

A great stay with some good-to-knows
This house is gorgeous, spacious, and perfect for a family to have together time and separate spaces. We would absolutely stay again! Here are a few things that I would find helpful to know when booking: 1. The shoreline and dock are VERY weedy. Definitely not swimmable for the kids. 2. We were able to rent a boat from the property owner/neighbor. Super nice folks. But, definitely would've been good to know there wasn't a swim ladder when we asked for a boat to get the kids out swimming past the weeds. 3. Bring a couple gallons of drinking water. The well water is fine, but not tasty drinking water. 4. Good fishing and quiet lake during the week!

Great lake place
We really enjoyed this house - it had all the amenities (games, kayaks, grills, fish cleaning station) we needed for a great weekend at the lake, and the views from the two decks can't be beat - so relaxing. Our only complaint - and it's a very small one - is that the lighting in the kitchen was kind of dim to cook with.

Great fishing, disappointing swim area
Clean,comfortable and plenty of room to stretch out for our large group. Enjoyed out stay as it was a quiet lake and neighborhood. Saw lots of loons and eagles. Kitchen had everything you needed which we appreciated as we cooked all our meals there. Had an issue with starting the pontoon we rented from the owner but he was very prompt in helping us out. There are quite a few stairs down to the dock, but it wasn't an issue for our group. Repeatedly caught lots of big sunfish out in the middle of the lake, which we really enjoyed, but no luck fishing from shore, which our kids like to do. Very small bathroom on lowest level had little room to move if you needed to be in there with little kids, but not an issue for us. The swimming area was disappointing as it was something we look for in a cabin and it was unusable as it was very weedy. Very small sandy spot on the beach for kids to use but not really anywhere to lay out or much room for adults to watch them on the shore. We were able to swim from the pontoon but we didn't rent it all days so were without a swim option several days. All in all we really did enjoy our time there, just a few things that were disappointing.

Better Than Expected!
My family of four (adult boys 20,22) had a wonderful 3 night stay at this lovely lake house. We had spent the earlier part of the week at a different location in Minnesota but wished we had spent the whole week here! There was so much to do inside and out. They have many lawn games and board games to keep you busy when you’re not out enjoying the lake. Everything was clean and well maintained. We rented the owner’s large pontoon and it ran very smoothly and was perfecting for touring around the lake and finding spots for fishing. The home looked nice in the photos, but really the photos can’t relay how nice this place is!

The Alabamian’s
The house was absolutely beautiful. The view of the lake was picturesque. The neighborhood was nice, quiet, and we felt safe. We enjoyed the lake immensely. We enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle boat. The lake was so pretty especially while the sun was setting. We relaxed most evenings by the fire pit. One evening we watched an eagle soar over the lake; it swooped down and caught a fish. The mosquitos were terrible so we layered in repellent. The game room was amazing, we had some great family time and we laughed a lot. We played foos ball, darts and sang a little karaoke. The house was comfortable and well equipped. The master bedroom was very nice. The bed was comfortable, the walk in closet was a dream and I loved having our own bathroom. We would definitely stay again.

Anniversary
Amazing time celebrating our first anniversary at this property. Master bedroom has beautiful views of the lake right from the bed. We also had a great time with the kayaks and paddle boat, and, enjoyed darts and foosball in the game room as well. We will definitely be back, as a couple, and possibly have bigger family gatherings at this property as well.

The pictures due no justice to this property its absolutely stunning in person.
Words cant describe how beautiful this home is it had everything needed the rooms and beds were comfortable and nice open spaces . We entertained family throughout our stay as we were down for a wedding from Lousiana and everyone complemented how stunning this place was. We had a pair of eagles daily soaring above us and in the trees above could even hear them communicating with each other priceless. The paddle boat & kayak were a hit we limited out on crappies daily just a few hundred feet from the dock. In total we caught and kept well over 80 crappies. The sunsets and sunrises off the lake were amazing. The host was very prompt to any questions or needs we had. I would 💯% recommend this palce you will not be disappointed we didn't want to leave and extend our stay another two days. I'm looking at renting again for next yr. already! Thanks for the stay we were not disappointed at all The Foreman's.

A Great Place To Make Memories
The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s spacious, plenty of room, the bed in the main bedroom was perfect and our family enjoyed everything about this place. Our family had 9 of us there and it didn’t feel crowded at all. It is a gorgeous home, close access to the water, a large grill that came in handy and the library of 📚 made for a great way to relax. You can hear the loons on the lake, the hosts were great to us & accomodating. If you’re looking for a perfect spot for you fam to have laughs and make memories hit the book button. Pro tip: Don’t make any plans when you’re there, just enjoy being on the lake because we spent a week on the water and that’s the only plans you need.

Beautiful cabin!
The cabin was clean and well maintained. It was actually larger than we expected. We liked that it was pet friendly so we’re able to bring our dog with us on our vacation. The game room was a great place to cool off for a bit when it was hot out side. The kids loved playing darts and football. We brought a boat and spent a lot of time out on the lake tubing, fishing and swimming so it was nice to have a dock to tie up to. The shoreline is rocky but the swimming area by the docks is sandy so the kids and dog spent alot of time playing in the water.

Wonderful fishing, great place to clean fish! Love the kayaks, paddle boat and canoe! Great decks and beautiful views! Spacious living area for 5 adults and 3 kids! Plenty of dock space for our boat! We had a wonderful time!

This home has everything you need for a weekend at the lake! The sleeping quarters were enough for our group and with 3 bathrooms you can’t go wrong. The master bedroom bed is super comfortable. Kitchen is a bit small for multiple cooks but we managed. The game room was wonderful to have for playing cards at night!! Very nice gas grill and also a Weber charcoal grill. Having access to all the water toys and being able to rent the owners pontoon was so great!! Only con for some might be the stairs. Steep”ish”stairs from upstairs to lower level and to the lake BUT didn’t bother us. Also, the circular driveway is nice to have for multiple cars.

Family vacation with grown kids
We had a great time with our 3 grown children, one of whom lives abroad. Comfortable surroundings both indoor and outdoor, plenty of space, and all we needed for outdoor recreation too! The only thing I would add is more light in the living room and dining room for evening board games and reading. We brought the floor lamp from the bedroom to that room to supplement. Problem solved!

Relaxing Lake House
What a gem! A classic lake house with plenty of wood interiors, large windows and decks with views of the water. The canoing was peaceful and the game room was used often.

We Loved This Home!
Excellent view. When you walk inside the lake view takes your breath away! Comfort beds, sofa. Great outdoor areas, porches. Love the high ceilings, large master bedroom. Beautiful views from every bedroom. Linens were very nice quality, thick towels. We didn't want to leave!

Peaceful and spacious with a beautiful view.
My family and I found this to be a clean and spacious house. Most of the rooms were nice size, and the house offered privacy as well as room for gathering. The host was very accommodating and kept good communication lines open for us...even brought over extra dining room chairs so we had enough to sit around the table and dine together as a family. I was impressed with all the games offered for both indoor and outdoor usage. An extra chair or two in the living room would have come in handy for our group of 8, so that the floor was not the only other option for adults to sit when the couch and loveseat were in use. It also would have been good to have a little bit of a beach entry into the water to make it accessible for the grandkids and elderly to walk in and enjoy the water. All in all, it was a nice place for my family for the week. I enjoyed the views of the water and the wooded area and the majestic eagles flying above us.

Long Weekend BLAST
Great location and easy to find! Boat slip was convenient and having a dock to use made a long weekend get away more fun! The property sits above the water / dock; access via steps to get to the lake. Grills, firepit, patio furniture and canoe plus game room kept entertainment abound. Plenty of bedding available and furnishings / dishes / kitchen extremely useful. Met the owners who were very nice and accommodating! Our family would happily stay again.

Eagle Point, lovely lake setting.
Entry and parking was a bit hidden and scary with the curved hill to the entry. But overall, the 2 story Eagle Point cabin was lovely and comfortable with game room, laundry, and piano that was much appreciated. The themed beds and bedrooms were comfortable and inviting. The master bedroom's dressing room with its large mirrors was great for the wedding party groom and groomsmen.
