We had a great stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Check-in was easy, communication was smooth, and the location worked perfectly for our trip. The only thing we would have loved was the option for early check-in or late check-out. Overall, a very good stay and we would happily come back.

Paradise

Best week of my life. This condo is perfectly located on the best part of the island, at a beautiful resort. Beach, pool, mountains, hiking, shopping and amazing food all at your fingertips. Zero regrets or negative experiences the entire week! I wouldn't not want to stay anywhere else.

Great place to stay

6222 was a great place to stay. Really enjoyed our 12 nights; having a nice kitchen and full laundry was ideal. The lanai was a perfect place to start and finish every day.

Very nice!

This unit was wonderful! Clean, close to the pools, had everything we needed for our week stay. Murphy bed was foam and very comfortable for our kids. We love Hanalei Bay Resort and this unit did not disappoint!

Room with a nice view

Room with a nice view. They have a huge balcony facing the mountains as well as the ocean. They do have surf boards, snorkeling masks, beach toys and inflatables. We didn't know that so we bought some along the way only to realize it wasn't needed.

The condo was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. The views from the lanai very spectacular even with the rain. It was an unusual weather pattern. We had a couple sunny days on the North Shore and many in Poipu. The WiFi was very slow but it works. Condo was amply supplied with toiletries and the like. Will stay again.

Great Views!

You can’t beat the views of the Napali coast right from the lanai! The property grounds are beautiful. You feel like you are in the middle of the jungle. There is a short walk to the beach. It’s not far but it is steep! They offer golf cart rides if needed. My husband and I were able to do it no problem but if you are older or have many kids I’d opt for the ride. They do have a collapsible wagon to help your lug your stuff down. You can also rent kayaks/surf boards/chairs etc. at the beach. Beach is shared with the beautiful 1 Hanalei Hotel. We enjoyed the restaurant on site - Happy Talk Lounge. They had live Hawaiian music and gorgeous views. There is a pizza restaurant as well, however we didn’t have a chance to try it. The place is well equipped with necessities kitchen, bath, beach. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to stay on the north shore!

Hanalei Bay Resort

This was one side of a condo, with the other side having a separate entrance, and separately rented, with a locked door in between. This side has a full kitchen, living room, and one bedroom. We understand the other side is a studio. Apparently a very common arrangement in this resort. The resort is beautiful; the resort and the unit itself have awesome views of the ocean and mountains. This particular unit is a litlte tired, and although it listed a washer and dryer as being in the unit, those were out of service and apparently had been for months. We were a little freaked out upon check-in by numerous large insect traps set up throughout the unit, but in the three days/nights we were there, we thankfully had no bug issues. The only downside of the resort that we noticed was that there is no parking near the units -- you can only park in a central parking lot at the high end of the property, then need to walk or get a golf cart ride to and from your unit. The walks can be long and steep depending on unit location, which can be a pain if you have a lot of luggage. But the beauty of the resort and the surrounding area made it, overall, well worth the stay.

Honeymoon Visit

We chose this condo based on location to Hanalei Bay and was looking for a resort with a pool, walking distance to the beach, near a grocery store and close to hiking. This checked all the boxes. Loved that the owners had beach towels, chairs, a cooler, snorkeling gear and boogie boards for us to use. The condo was well equipped with all the cooking tools, but would be helpful to have some more basic supplies available; sugar, salt, pepper. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom could have a door that closed, the sliding door didn't really fit the privacy bill for me. The view from the lanai is awesome and would have loved some more comfortable seating to enjoy the view, but no major complaints there. Something to note, this is a walking resort, in that, it's hilly. We hail from CO so not an issue for us, but could see this being an issue for some. You can call for a golf cart to pick you up, but this could take 10-15 min, so plan ahead. The resort itself is very well maintained and expect to hear landscapers in the morning with power tools keeping it tidy. The tennis courts were always busy and people seemed to be enjoying themselves there. The pools were amazing, not a ton of shade at the smaller pool during the day, but the main pool has plenty. The resort restaurant has live music and seemed to be bumping til about 10pm, but expect to wait for a table or seat at the bar and the prices are on the higher side. Overall, the staff was very welcoming and happy to answer questions. Bummed I didn't know that it offered yoga and other fun activities until we checked out, so don't miss out like I did. This condo had everything to offer and more, hence the 5 stars. Hope this helps with booking the vacay of your dreams.

It’s a nice property but…

The resort is lovely & the unit is well positioned & very nice. Unfortunately we arrived & there were absolutely no cleaning products of any kind (tp, soap, shampoo, paper towels, dish soap etc). It took over 24 hours & multiple contacts to get them. Vacasa management did compensate us.
