Kauai Heaven

This condo is fabulous with a living area and bedroom upstairs and a second master bed, bath and sitting room downstairs. When we travel, we cook in our VRBO, and this condo is unmatched in the amenities that it provides. We enjoyed the quiet community, views of multiple waterfalls in the mountains, close access to the Hanalei Bay, and a3-minute walk to the beautiful Makai golf course. Awesome!

Wonderful Trip

This is a lovely townhouse unit with everything you need for the perfect stay. We enjoyed the view from the living room deck and seeing waterfalls appear on the mountains after it rained. Very clean and well stocked. We especially appreciated the beach equipment including chairs and umbrellas. Good location to explore Hanalei area and convenient to the grocery store.

Nice mountain view

Nice view of the mountains and waterfall, quiet and comfortable. Air conditioning was a nice plus. Had plenty of beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards. There was two sets of dated snorkel gear. Wi-fi was pretty weak. otherwise had a nice stay.

the perfect spot

This property was THE best place we stayed in our recent visit to Kauai. Not only is it beautifully furnished, fully stocked (spices, cooking equip) and offers a convenient pool, it is perfectly situated to explore Princeville on foot or in the car. There are several beaches within walking distance (although two- Hidden Beach and Queens Bath- are a very challenging walk (not to be done after a rain). We loved Puu Poa Beach by the St. Regis (easier to get to AND you can buy cocktails/smoothies/lunch right at the beach). We also had a lovely last meal at Happy Talk Restaurant (also walking distance) for a fun dinner with music and beautiful views. A romantic dinner was had at the St. Regis. Plenty of options to explore. Definitely stock up at the Foodland right around the corner in the Princeville Center. What a great management team (always accessible for questions/recommendations) and what an INCREDIBLE property!

Lovely Mountain View

This property was perfect for our family of 4 because we had a lot of space to spread out and the mountain view was gorgeous! We went to Kauai knowing we wanted to drive to a lot of different beaches which is exactly what we did. Our favorite beach was Secret beach! We went there two days and saw dolphins both days. I am really glad we stayed in the north because of the dramatic beauty. The only thing I think should be updated is the refrigerator. When you open the door you can see rust, but other than that the unit is clean and beautiful, and HUGE!

Spacious, great for 2 couples

Beautiful condo with spacious rooms, really comfy King beds, and responsive property management who provided everything we needed. Added bonus that the cooking essentials and spices were stocked! Bedrooms were on separate floors that made traveling with another couple perfect.

Spacious, clean and beautiful views!

This condo is beautifully furnished, well-kept and stocked with all the basics you could possibly need. The views are spectacular! And I highly recommend this locale if you’re lookin to get away from the hustle and bustle of other parts of the island. Enjoy quiet walks, have a relaxing cup of coffee on the lanai while taking in the ever changing view of the mountains. The only sort of drawback is that if want to visit Waimea or boat ride to Na Pali, you nearly have to circumnavigate the island, as there is no direct route from Princeville. We didn’t mind too much. The driving and s easy and the scenery beautiful

Best vacation rental we've ever stayed in!

It's important to note that we have stayed in vacation rentals all over the world, and many in the State of Hawaii on various islands. This was the best we've ever stayed in, for a variety of reasons. First, the complex is quiet, safe and well landscaped. Pool and jacuzzi are close, and the property is well placed in the greater Princeville resort property. We walked every day and Princeville has a great walking/running path. The unit is itself is really well laid out, with two legit master suites, a spacious living area and a well-stocked kitchen. I mean seriously well stocked. EVERYTHING you could possibly need. We like to eat out but we did cook a couple of nights, including using the BBQ to grill some fresh fish. A/C works great, which is important to us as humidity gets to us quickly. The condo is clean and the most impressive thing is how amazingly well Great Vacation Retreats, which manages the property has thought of everything one would need. Plenty of soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion in all three bathrooms. We find too often that is not the case with vacation rentals. Blow dryers in every bathroom, plenty of detergent and dryer sheets for the laundry. Also impressive is the quality of the furniture. They spared no expense, really high end, including the fans. Beds were comfortable and they also have all the beach gear you could need - towels, chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, you name it. There were only four of us, but it would sleep 6 and maybe even 8 (they have a blow-up mattress that would be fine for kids) comfortably. We will definitely be coming back.

Best Ever All Around Condo Experience

We stayed in Condo 20 of Villas of Kamali’i for 8 nights and enjoyed every. Moment of it. Another couple, old friends, were with us and this home was spacious enough to allow us privacy with its two bedroom suites on two levels of the condo, each with its own bath. there was a smaller room converted into a study, with a bathroom that included a shower, across the hall. the kitchen was roomy enough for 2 cooks and fully equipped for cooking, which we did quite often. Everything was very, very neat and clean throughout. Lots of towels for the baths and the pool. New washer and dryer and plenty of laundry detergent. The tv/sound/Bluetooth with a Sonos system put this place over the top. The pool and hot tub were very nice, especially after strenuous days kayaking and hiking nearby. Very nice neighbors; felt safe day and night when we were out walking. The most incredible part of this package was that it included a mid-size car. And we can’t praise the management company, Great Vacation Retreats, enough; they prepared us for our arrival, sent necessary info 6 weeks, then again 2 and 2 days in advance. They were quick to respond to calls and questions and extremely helpful and friendly. We’re only disappointed that they only manage properties on Kaua’I to date.
