The 22-acre resort sits above a white-sand beach, with Hanalei Bay below and the mountain backdrop changing throughout the day. Drive into Hanalei for local food and shops, or make a calmer-water beach day of nearby Anini. Then come back to the lanai as the sky turns toward sunset. This is a relaxed, practical North Shore base for two guests who want the real Kauai experience close at hand.



The Space:

This air-conditioned hotel-style studio is arranged for two with a king bed, large bathroom, TV, mini fridge, coffee maker, and private lanai. The room stays simple and functional, while the lanai gives you Hanalei Bay views and a private place for morning coffee or the last light of the day. It is the right amount of indoor space for guests who intend to spend their time outside.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to Hanalei Bay Resort's shared outdoor pool and hot tub. Paid parking is listed among the resort amenities. Some facilities are operated independently by the resort.



The Neighborhood:

Hanalei Bay Resort gives you Princeville’s lush North Shore setting above Hanalei Bay. Spend the day on the sand below the resort, then head into Hanalei for shave ice, dinner, and a slow walk through town. Anini Beach is nearby for calmer water, while the Na Pali Coast and waterfall country make a memorable day out. Back at the resort, tropical grounds, two pools, and eight tennis courts make it easy to keep the day close to home.



Getting Around:

A rental car is recommended for exploring Princeville, Hanalei, North Shore beaches, and trailheads at your own pace. Princeville Center offers nearby groceries and dining. Lihue Airport is about 40 minutes away by car. Paid parking is listed at Hanalei Bay Resort.



Other Things to Note:

• Can be rented in conjunction with Hanalei Bay Resort 9205 for a two-bedroom/two-bath retreat with a kitchen, or Hanalei Bay Resort 9205 and 9206 for the three-bedroom/three-bath retreat with a kitchen, perfect for a family or a group of friends.

• There is no kitchen available. There is a mini-fridge and a coffee maker only.

• Condos contain lockouts, meaning there are shared doors. Sounds may be audible between connecting doors.

• Internet provided by Hanalei Bay Resort does not support streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.

• This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations.

• Hanalei Bay Resort swim-up pool bar is indefinitely closed.

• This is a privately owned unit in a resort. Since it is privately owned and rented, hotel-style housekeeping is not offered. There is no daily housekeeping.



• Hanalei Bay Resort currently charges a flat fee of $50, a reservation fee of $6.75 per every non-owner reservation, a $25 per day resort fee and a $20 per day, per vehicle, parking fee. These fees are subject to taxes. This is paid directly to the resort at the time of check-in and not included in the rental rate or fees.
