    The Space:

    Located in a peaceful neighborhood in the heart of Princeville, surrounded by the elegant Makai Golf Club, Tiki Hale has the delightful charm of home with all the beauty that Kauai's North Shore has to offer. As you pull up to the house, you'll be welcomed by a lush green yard filled with palms and Hawaiian plants, attractive architecture, and high-quality craftsmanship. The interior has been pleasantly renovated with hardwood flooring, high vaulted ceilings, updated cabinets and countertops, and plenty of windows to let in the Hawaiian sunshine. But don't mistake the open feel for any lack of privacy, as the property is surrounded by greenery and tall trees that create a natural barrier. Throw on your swimsuit, take a dip in the private hot tub, then prepare a meal on the grill, a feast in the kitchen, and a drink at the Tiki bar and enjoy the island lifestyle.



    What's nearby:

    This home sits right next to the golf course in Princeville, so playing 18 holes is as easy as it gets. The charming town of Hanalei, with its charming shops, great restaurants, and spectacular beach on Hanalei Bay, is less than four miles southwest, so grab the beach chairs and a cooler and head on down. If you're looking for family activities, hit the off-roading trails on an ATV, go ziplining, or find a good picnic site on horseback at Princeville Ranch one mile down the road.

Perfect for a small group

Exceeded our expectations!

This house was perfect for our group. Very clean with numerous thoughtful amenities. Check-in was easy and communication with the property management team was excellent. Very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this property.

Princeville Paradise

The home was a great size for our family vacation, plenty of room for everyone. We loved the open living & kitchen space & utilized it often. The A/C in the bedrooms was refreshing to come home to. The local Vacasa team were very responsive to a couple of our needs. Would stay here again, 100%!

Great location, lots of space

It really is as spacious as the pictures show. Kitchen is clean, large and well equipped with everything needed for prepping some nice meals, BBQ works great too. King size bed very comfortable. Management company responds very quickly and is great to deal with.

The house was great just as described. There was a lot of space for our group of 4 adults and one kid. Hot tub worked perfectly and they provided coolers, beach chairs and beach umbrella. Great space in the living room and kitchen area but I could see how it could get hot with no AC in the summer. the two

Quiet home in Princeville

If you're seeking a quiet environment where you can enjoy the birds and wildlife in the backyard, I would highly recommend this home. Neighbors are quiet & home is well stocked with Beach towels, dishes & cutlery for the grill - which works well... A/C works well in all bedrooms. Plenty of play area outside in the yard for the little ones.... If you're looking for something more intimate that's not in a Condo/Timeshare Association - this home is for you....

December getaway trip

We had a blast and were greeted by lovely notes and even a birthday ballon. Everything was very clean, ample of toiletries like shampoo, lotion, shower gel and conditioner. Ample of towels, both bathroom and beach. Even coffee and other goodies. Kitchen has everything you need even Tupperware. Can only highly recommend this place, especially for families the backyard is great and cozy.

This is a very nice large house. Very well supplied with towels -- bath, beach, and even towels for dirty shoes. Beautiful orchids and nice decoration, open and large. The living room area has a nice high-beamed ceiling and there are lots of fans. The AC in the bedrooms worked well and the 2.5 baths was a plus. We didn't use the hot tub but the maintenance guy came by so we saw it was cleaned weekly. All in all really great place!

1) The primary problem we had was the wifi. It was unusable. The network (TIKI_HALE) was almost always disconnected or connected without internet. Spectrum technician was called in, tried to fix, but it was unsuccessful. A second request for help wasn't answered. We are writers and use computers/wifi extensively. Had to use our own phone hotspots for entire stay -- at additional personal expense. Had to use hotspot to watch TV too.2) Master bathtub is unsafe. We added a mat and removable grab bar.3) Patio table is badly corroded. Needs to be replaced.4) Front door lock is finicky. We were unable to open house with it -- had to call support to access a lockbox key.5) Interior lighting is dim and one bulb was out.6) Found one bedbug in master bed.7) Had a problem with flies. Purchased fly traps to get under control.8) Kitchen screens fell out in wind. Had to put back in place.9) One faucet in hallway bathroom is faulty.10) Eaves troughs leak and water doesn't reach downspouts.

Very nice stay

Great location near to all amenities in princeville and convenient to get to all north shore areas. Very comfortable,clean with everything we needed, including water toys and cooler. Only downside was afternoon heat that made living room too hot even with multiple fans and open windows and sliders. Only AC is in bedrooms, which was great, and we spent most of our time in the lovely backyard patio anyway

Spacious & well stockedThe photos don’t capture the spaciousness of this home. The living room is big, as is the dining area & kitchen. It’s well stocked in the kitchen for cooking, including utensils, pots & pans, pantry items & dishes. Also there are plenty of beach items to utilize. The outdoor shower was a welcome stop when coming home covered in salt & sand. The home was hot upon arrival, but we got the ac & fans going, and it cooled off. The backyard has a grill and table & chairs in a lush garden setting. Beds were comfortable on the firm side, which we prefer, with plenty of linens & towels. The swinging chair in front was the coveted spot to relax. Great location in princeville with quiet neighborhood. Communication was clear, consistent & easy. We’d return!

Location was great, easy in and easy out to main road but far enough away that it was quiet. House was large enough for our family of 6 to not ever feel crowded. Nice furniture and kitchen well stocked. One knock on the property is there was a neighbor complained twice that we were being too noisy when we were watching a movie inside the house. I get that it’s a nice quiet neighbourhood but that kind of mentality is overkill. On the plus side, Vacasa handled the situation very professionally

Property doesn’t get enough breeze to not have a/c in entire house. Thank goodness for the fans that they had moved them into Great room and kitchen to circulate air.

Comfortable and easy stay

Comfortable and well suited to a family stay. We are only a family of 4. But, given the number and size of beds and bathrooms, you could easily have 6 or even 7 people stay here. The house was clean, the hosts were responsive and even proactively checked in by text. A/C worked well. Neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. Yet, it is just a short drive to some restaurants and a small market, etc. Since it is a single family home, you have dedicated parking in the driveway. Kitchen has everything you need to support a family stay, so you don't need to spend a lot going out to eat all the time, as you might in a hotel setting. If we return to Princeville, we are very likely to check availability of this property first. No complaints at all.

Lovely spacious home

We enjoyed our stay so so much! This house was great! It was a lovely home. There was plenty of space for our big family. It was clean when we arrived. The garden was very beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet and it was a wonderful home to come back to at the end of the day. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. The outdoor shower was very helpful. Having a washer and dryer there with detergent which was very very helpful! There were plenty of towels for both shower and beach. There were great beach toys and a few boogie boards and beach chairs. We actually ended up buying 2 more boogie boards and left them there for future renters. We also left 4 walking sticks for those that want to hike. Overall this home was such a wonderful vacation home. We will come back the next time we visit beautiful Kauai.

Splendid Vacation Home in Princeville

This is a wonderful home for a group of six people. We recently stayed at Tiki Hale (two couples and two teenagers) for vacation. We chose it for the location. It's near Foodland, shops and eateries. It's a quick drive down to Hanalei Beach, more shops and restaurants (less than 10 minutes if traffic's not backed up). The home is surrounded by beautiful, tropical foliage. It's spacious enough for everyone to spread out. It's in a quiet neighborhood, near the golf course. It's easy to walk or jog around the area. The staff did a good job cleaning it before our arrival. We were pleasantly surprised with the treats to welcome us. We were able to get immediate responses to address minor concerns. We greatly appreciated that. I would recommend this location for people visiting Kauai for the first time and wanting to stay in a house rather than a hotel or condo. It's private, homey and in an ideal location.

Calm and quiet

I stayed at this property with my family for 10 days. I’m giving this property 3 star solely on the classiness. Everything else was good. The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet. The house was spacious and kitchen was well equipped. The washer and dryer are old and clothes were not cleaned. It was also hard to wash towels in the washer because during the spin cycle it would go nuts and move around. The floors weren’t vacuumed well and we could feel sand when walked bare foot. The shower heads were old and rusty. I think the cleaning crew can do a better job of cleaning especially when the cost is built into the booking.
