“We enjoyed an extended stay at Pallas Lodge. It’s in a peaceful location. As hosts, Pat and Kay were responsive and helpful. The gardens surrounding the home are beautifully designed and looked after with care. Views the water and the mountains from the property are stunning. The location afforded day trips to Allihies, Eyeries, Castletownbere, and the entire Beara Peninsula. We highly recommend Pallas Lodge. ”

“The house was clean, beautiful views but needs a lot of repairs. The dryer needs to be replaced, the knob to adjust heat is broken and just lying on the counter. We had to adjust it until we finally found enough heat to dry our clothes. When you take a shower in two of the bathrooms, the water just pours out onto the floor. They need ventilation in the bathrooms. Everything is covered in condensation after a shower. We ended up taking everything out of the bathroom so the heat and condensation...

“This home in a residential neighborhood on a hill above Cobh was exactly what we were looking for: quiet, private, lots of space, a decent sized kitchen including washer/dryer unit, three bedrooms (one of them tiny), parking, a full kitchen table, living room and an outdoor seating area. As someone else remarked, a bit of paint, some fairy lights, a table umbrella and some plantings would world of difference to the outdoor area. “We wanted to be based close to Doolin, Caherconnel Fort, and Aillwee Cave. This property was a hit. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable, plenty of parking, two pubs right across the road, and a little hotel on a kitty corner for a night cap complete with the live music on Saturday evening. ”
