Our cozy, quiet, thatched-roof vacation home—surrounded by unique natural beauty and lush greenery—is nestled in the middle of the salt grass meadows at the old Bresewitz train station, near the Baltic Sea, the Bodstedter Bodden, and the Meiningen Bridge. Here you’ll find an oasis of peace, rest, and relaxation.

The spacious, enclosed garden property with fruit trees, flowers, herbs, and shrubs, along with the lovingly designed house featuring 80 m² of living space on the first floor, offers ideal accommodations year-round (whether for last-minute stays or long-term stays) for those seeking peace and quiet, nature lovers, birdwatchers, active vacationers, families, and those who prefer to travel alone.

The rustic-style house, featuring wooden beams and floorboards and a very comfortable indoor climate in all seasons, accommodates 4 people and includes 2 bedrooms, 1 combined living/dining room with a large dining table, 1 large bathroom with a bathtub, rain shower, and heated floors, and 1 modern, open-concept country-style kitchen. The covered west-facing terrace and the beautiful garden, which invite you to sunbathe and enjoy the wonderful sunsets and magnificent crane migrations, are also part of the property.

* Getting Here *
By car: Travel by car: Take the A19/A20, exit at Sanitz, then continue via Ribnitz-Damgarten toward Barth via Fuhlendorf/Bodstedt–Pruchten to Bresewitz. Or take the A20 from Berlin, exit at Stralsund, take the B105 toward Rostock to Löbnitz, then the L22 toward Zingst/Prerow.
Train: Travel by train to Barth, then continue by bus toward Zingst / Prerow or take a taxi 7 km to Bresewitz.
Public Bus: Take bus line L210 to Bresewitz. Buses on this route operate with bike trailers from April through October. Timetables available at: http://www.nvp-bus.de.

* Surroundings and Attractions *
The Baltic Sea Coastal Cycle Route (D2) is about 80 meters from the house. The sandy beach between the Baltic Sea resorts of Prerow and Zingst can be reached by bike in 15–20 minutes.
The Meiningen Bridge is a historic swing bridge over the Meiningen Stream that’s well worth seeing; it connects the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula to the mainland. The rotating section of the bridge opens at set times and makes for a great photo opportunity.
Windsurfing, kitesurfing, and sailing on the shallow, calm waters of the Bodstedter Bodden or on the Baltic Sea, one of the best windsurfing spots.
