This modern luxury sanctuary looks over a manicured tropical garden bursting with local flowers, plants and trees to an unobstructed view of the Pacific ocean and has space for everyone to gather or escape, whatever you need at the moment. Relax and let your local caretakers, Ingrid and Ivan, help you with everything from activity planning, local tips, shopping for/preparation/serving/clean up of breakfast and dinner upon request (groceries paid by guests) and cleaning service.

Highlights include an infinity edge pool, outdoor BBQ kitchenette, outdoor poolside dining, spacious Exercise/Yoga room with free weights, rowing machine, wall mirror, wall mount smart TV and AC, outdoor living feel with front and back glass doors that open fully to the views and tropical breeze, spacious bedrooms all with AC, luxury linens, abundant natural light, soaking tub in the large and luxurious master bathroom with ceiling to floor views of the jungle, hummingbirds and butterflies. The conveniently stocked wine cellar is available to you on an honor system of pay as you consume.

Ingrid, your caretaker, and Ivan, your chef, will greet you and be available to help make your vacation perfect. Breakfast and dinner can be prepared and served upon request for the mere cost of the groceries. Our on-property vegetable garden provides a variety of seasonal fresh produce from baby spinach to fresh basil to eggplant.

There is a master bedroom with ocean views and a king bed on the main level with sliding glass doors leading right onto the pool terrace. Above the garage we have 2 mirror image guest rooms, both with gorgeous ocean views and each with its own private full bath. One of these rooms has a king bed and the other has 2 twin beds which can be combined to create a king bed as needed. A spacious laundry room with full size washer and dryer adjoins the 2 car garage. Our 4th bedroom is located in a private suite along the side of the house with jungle views, a full kitchen, bathroom, and private patio with its own washer & dryer. The exercise room and its ocean view terrace is a perfect place for everything from yoga to weight lifting to HIIT exercises. There are two rooftop terraces, one with a little table and 4 chairs for sunset cocktails.

Our neighborhood has 3 very secluded small beaches to explore with tide pools where you feel like you are swimming in an aquarium filled with many colorful fish varieties (only at low tide!). Known to many as the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica, Playa Carrillo is a 7 minute drive from our home. It is a pristine, untouched, beach perfect for beach walks, picnics under the numerous palm trees, beginner surfing and all levels of SUPing. A short 15 minute drive North from our home is Samara where you will find more action with beach bars and many excellent restaurants. Likewise, about 20 minutes South you will arrive in Punta Islita where you will find a few more restaurant options as well as a Wild Macaw Reserve. If you've never seen a Scarlet Macaw, this is a wonderful opportunity to see these birds that are nothing less that majestic. The town of Puerto Carrillo, 5 minutes down our gravel road, also has a few excellent restaurants.

The best part - Our home is nestled into a lush jungle envelope of privacy and tranquility. While it has all of the creature comforts, it is truly close to the natural jungle and thus subject to visitors of jungle creatures. You will certainly hear, and most likely see, troops of Howler monkeys in our trees (not in the house, don’t worry). The white face monkeys also frequently travel across the trees in the back of the home. Ants are part of the landscape here (yes, in the house), but the less any food or attractant is left out the less you will see of them. Geckos also live in and around the house. They eat the bugs, so they earn their keep, and they are completely harmless and scared of humans. During parts of the rainy season it's possible to find a frog (no poisonous frogs in this area at all) or small red and purple crab in the house. A nuisance but harmless and your caretakers can help if they are on the property. Our house is not air-tight on purpose; we let in breath to prevent mold issues completely. We have never had a guest be bothered by these things but we do want you to know up front what you might expect. And we hope you enjoy the experience and exposure to this tropical haven!
