Beautiful drive up to Port Jackson in New Zealand #Green

This isn't exactly Port Jackson, but it's the road on the way to PJ. To get here you follow a single lane gravel road (sketchy at times!) skirting the edge of the beautiful Coromandel coastline.
This campground is located allll the way at the top of the Coromandel via a single lane gravel road, but it’s totally worth the bumpy ride. Up here, you’ll find camping spots just steps from the beach and solitude (especially in April!). The long stretch of sand is great for a walk and is littered with shorebirds such as the oystercatcher and dotterel. You can also walk to the end of the beach and up the hill for an amazing view of the bay. Pit toilets and cold showers are available, along with the new addition of barbecues. I wish we had packed more food so that we could have stayed a few more days, but I’ll definitely be back here. http://kileetravels.com/camping-in-the-coromandel/ #goldenhour

Great accommodation. We stayed in the cabin kitchen which had everything we needed. The beach could be seen from the cabin from the bedroom and the veranda. The toilet and shower was literally next door to the cabin. Fabulous campsite for all. Would highly recommend 👌 🙂
