Great place to stay and relax. Quiet area, ample space in bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and dining room. Pool are is big. Manager is always available, very communicative, and on top of things. Would recommend it to anyone for a stay. Would stay again if given the opportunity.

Super fast respond. Barbara made me feel welcomed from the very beginning, AMAZING PLACE. Way better in person. The house keepers gave us enough privacy and were very attentive if we called for anything. All in all AMAZING. I will be going back. Thanks Barbara..

The Home is well kept in a nice quiet neighborhood. The home has a lovely pool that is actually deep. The owner Barbara is always a phone call away for any questions. The maid Nana prepared us several authentic Dominican Dinners that were excellent. The beach is walking distance. The home has the necessary amenities. The bedrooms are spacious and well maintained. Overall this is my 4th time vacationing in the Dominican Republic and I will rent this location again.

It was an awesome stay, at beautiful property, managed by beautiful people!

The property was amazing. You could tell upon driving up that it was one of the best properties in Costambar. We were greeted with fresh coconuts every morning. Enjoyed the short walk to the beach where we ate empanadas, made right in front of us, and ice cold Presidentes. A wonderful experience. Can’t wait to go back! And I’m staying at the same place!

Beautiful home

Bachelor party group of 7 guys. House fit our needs. Groundskeeping was good, but the daily Housekeeping needs improvement. The homeowner is very responsive and helpful if you need anything or have questions. Overall, I would definitely rebook!

Reasonably priced beautiful spacious home in a great location

The home is super spacious and even better than what is pictured. Location is great! About a 7 minute walk to the nearby beach that has shops, places to get food and drinks. About a 10 minute drive to the city center. About 45 minutes to nearby town Sosua. 15 minutes from the Puerto plata airport and 1.5 hrs from STI. There is a queen sized bed in each room and there is a bathroom in each room so you can comfortably fit 10-12 ppl in this home. Bedrooms are on the 1st and 3rd floors and there are AC units in each room and throughout the house. I don't think the house has a water heater as the running water was never hot..it was slightly warm most times. The pool area looks just as pictured really nice :). The area was pretty safe but we didn't test it out too much besides walking to and from the beach we were on the property or driving to another destination. However the property is gated and includes the main house, pool house and small quarters where the housekeepers stay which is the best part of this house! Anna one of the housekeepers is the sweetest little Dominican woman.She will clean the pool in the morning, the dishes in the sink and will even cook a traditional Dominican meal if you provide her with the groceries. She speaks No English but it is part of the experience and she will literally do whatever she can to make sure "todo es bien" :) I went with a group of (7) 25 yr olds and we had a blast and cried when we had to leave, she was like our mother while we were there. Barbara the home owner was very responsive which is what reeled me in. I ask several questions about the property and she answered right away each time via text and email. She even got me in touch with a cab driver Israel who ended up being our driver the entire time we were out there and he took very good care of us and gave us really good rates! The only con was on our first night there we did find a couple insects in some of the rooms but after the first night it was not an issue. Not a big enough deal for me not to go back. If i ever return to Puerto Plata I will definitely stay in Barbara's house, it was a great experience overall for a great price!

Best Vacation!

I stayed here for 5 days with 5 of my friends. You get the impression how amazing the property once you walk up to the gate. The mansion is exactly how it is described with amenities and we especially love the pool, for obvious reasons. The important part of the trip is how easily accessible Barbara is; she gets back to with answers within minutes. Ana and Jose, the 2 attendants at the property are the best too. They help you with whatever it is that you need and in a timely manner too. It's sucks that communication was difficult if you don't speak Spanish but then again, you probably should learn some if you go to their country. Overall, it was an amazing stay at an amazing property and will most DEFINITELY stay here again. Thanks Barbara for letting us use your property.
