Located between Cathar Country and Catalan Country, at the foot of its castle—one of the royal fortresses of Languedoc—and surrounded by unspoiled nature, you’ll discover this complex of three vacation rentals situated on the outskirts of the village, just a stone’s throw from the Boulzane River. The small town of Puilaurens and its residents offer you an ideal vacation setting to recharge in peace and quiet, and to discover not only the historical heritage but also hiking and mountain trails, whitewater activities from rafting to hydrospeed, cycling along the mountain pass route, trout fishing, and the delights of local mountain cuisine. The coast, Carcassonne, and Perpignan are about 1 hour and 30 minutes away. There are restaurants nearby and a small store in the village. The cottage is semi-detached and not overlooked by neighbors, sharing walls with two other cottages. It includes: _A living room with a fully equipped kitchen opening onto a large garden featuring a gas grill, _A half-bath. Upstairs: _A bedroom with a 140-cm bed, _A bedroom with two 160-cm beds and its own bathroom with a shower, _A bedroom with a 90-cm bed, _A bathroom with a bathtub, _A separate toilet. Housekeeping, bed linens, and towels are available for rent; please contact the owner. Check-in is required on Saturday.
