Starting with history, the monumentalRoman Amphitheatre is only a few kilometers away from the villa. Known as thePula Arena, this ancient structure is one of the best-preserved Roman structures in the world and an emblem of Pula.
Not far from there is the Temple of Augustus, another striking Roman edifice dedicated to the first Roman emperor. Located in the Forum, the city square, it is an excellent spot for dining and people-watching.
