“Very nice accommodations ”

“Accommodations were perfect for us…clean, well stocked, user friendly. We enjoyed the local food trucks and grocery stores were close by. The Polynesian Culture Center is a definite recommended visit….many activities in close proximity….”

“The view of the ocean was the only positive for this condo. The A/C consists of portable indoor units which are very noisy. The mattress on the bed was very thin and uncomfortable, as were the pillows. There is a lot of construction on site for building maintenance and so the parking lot is a mess. We had to park a quarter of a mile down the street. Walking to and from the car was dangerous and inconvenient, as the road is busy. The lock boxes are in a very poorly lit hallway. “We had a great time here. The room was cute, cozy and quiet. Rated cleanliness a little lower because of active construction but otherwise it is well maintained. We loved the direct access to the beach and even saw sea turtles on the beach. The best part was watching the sunrise every morning from our lanai overlooking the beach and ocean. Would highly recommend this if you are looking for a spot away from the larger tourist areas. ”

“We stayed during the time of the horrible flooding, and our host was very responsive to communications. We had a wonderful stay in spite of the weather, and power outages. The apartment was well stocked and was very nice and clean, and we appreciated the air conditioning and fans.”

“Our stay had some positives, but there were several issues that made it frustrating overall. The building is currently under construction, which made parking difficult—we were unable to get a parking spot every day. Communication with the host was also challenging, as they were not easily reachable when we needed assistance.We also had a maintenance issue with the smoke detector. The battery was low and it beeped for about half a day before it was resolved, which was pretty disruptive. The...

“Excellent stay! We were there during a rainy stretch, so not a lot of beach/pool activities. Great location if you want to stay away from the cities, and get a more "Hawai‘i experience". Grocery is reasonably close (less than 5 miles north). Outstanding little bakery is about a mile north. North shore is an easy drive. Building and parking lot were under construction, so it looks a bit messy on the road side of the building. Did not affect our stay.”
