horrible stay and big problems on checkout

the last day of stay was terrible, they hardly understand english and no matter what you explain them they just nod the head. The keep kncking doors in the afternoon while you are resting just to ask you to fill up the drinks, they knock the door at odd hours, the only ones i can give high points is for the doorman, and the guys that help you get off the car, for the rest a 0

Ok not a 5 star

Have to ask things from staff 3 to 5times before it is addressed. For eg we had a 3 bed room. The bed 3 rd bed was not set up. Had to call 3 times for it Was done.

comfortable stay, long time for check in

a very long time for check in. please make sure you have passport with visa stamped for all members staying. a very busy location. food served is tasty.

The hotel is very well located.

1. Check In: The experience was very positive. Quick referral to check-in list, collection of ID and allotment - all within 5 minutes. 2. Lift / lobby / floor access: Very straight forward atrium design - no difficulty in locating room, emergency exits etc. 3. Rooms: Well appointed, functional and Wi-Fi enabled with adequate charging points. Cleanliness was maintained. 4. Parking: As I was staying over the week-end, it was important that I get free, safe parking. This was one factor that is advertised, and influenced my choice to stay in the hotel. The hotel delivered as promised. 5. Food & beverages: Bit expensive on the personally preferred non-veg front. No issues with quality though. 6. Staff: Very warm and helpful. The biggest plus on this account.

Hotel close to busy places

Hotel is still the same as 5 yrs back. Staff needs more grooming. Facilities are good. Food is nice. It is located near the other busy places of the city. I wouldn't have opted it if I wasn't had stayed there couple of yrs back. Need more advertisement.

I think this is a 4 star hotel not 5 since the service and Rooms were good and sometimes verygood But not excellent. But a good hotel with Nice gym !

Nice stay!!

It was nice to stay since I stayed there only for 1 night. The room was very good. Just had a concern about the choice of the room was not given even on a request as decided. Also while billing there was some misunderstanding by the staff and incorrect bill was charged, but got it resolved. But the overall experience was good.

poor check in and check out experience

The check in and check out experience was bad. the htel did not have any record of my reservation and I had to wait 30 minutes to be allotted a room after having reached the hotel post a long flight. At check out, I was given an inflated bill and it took 20 minutes for the matter to be clarified. The hotel needs to improve its systems and service

Staff couldn't find my online reservation. After requesting a room with 2 beds, they gave us a room with one bed. They did give us another room when we complained. Beds were comfortable.

Class and Comfort

I had a short stay at the Sun N Sand as I was preparing for another trip. It was a great refresher to stay in such a 'posh' hotel at such a reasonable price. The decor of the lobby is elaborate, and the rooms are warm and inviting, with what seems careful attention to the affects of the lighting/furniture on creating a comfortable setting. I would highly recommend this hotel and see myself staying at one of their other locations some time in the near future.

Sun N Sand Pune Lives up to its reputation

The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. They lived up to their reputation. Although I am an occasional traveller to Pune and has been staying at this property for more than a decade but they lived up to their reputation and expectation. Particularly the lady in the front desk who was so cordial and considerate for an early check in, as we were little early than our schedule thanks less road traffic as were driving to Pune.

Gehobenes Geschäftshotel

Meine Bitte an der Rezeption mir ein Taxi zu bestellen, wurde mir verweigert! Der hoteleigene Travel-Desk hatte mir dies am Vortag so empfohlen. Stattdessen wurde ich auf die Hotelwagen verwiesen, die ich - wenn der Travel-Desk eine halbe Stunde später besetzt sei - buchen könne. Das wäre zwar teurer aber o.k. gewesen, wenn des nicht zu spät für meinen Überlandbus gewesen wäre. Morgens ein zufällig vorbeifahrendes Taxi zu erwischen, ist schwierig. Ich habe den Anschluss noch mit einer Motorriksha erwischt, aber dieser Vorfall war sehr ärgerlich!

Good Stay

The stay was great, the room service was good. The check in and Check out process was swift. The only problem was that the electricity in the room went off at night and it got so hot that it actually woke us up. Although this was sorted the moment we called the reception but still it is not expected from a hotel of this stature.
