Belle place pour quelques jours

L'appartement etait pas tres propre. En rentrant une coquerelle mais heureusement la seule. Ricardo nous a rendu service a quelques occasions. Nous avions une tres belle vue sur l'ocean.

Fishing Lodge Marina

First off let me start with a big Thank you to Ricardo the owner, everything was easy and he was very accessible to communicate with. The property itself had everything you would need for a wonderful stay. Walking distance to casino,shops,restaurants and great views. It was nice to go to a place and truly relax! I will be rebooting soon!

Great location

The views from this unit are fantastic. Ricardo was very easy to deal with and responsive whenever we had questions. The location is also close to pools and the restaurant area of the fishing lodge. This particular unit is quite tired and in need of some work. Overall we enjoyed our time in the area.

Hätte perfekt sein können

Eigentlich eine hübsche Wohnung mit super Standort in einer gehobeneren Gegend. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich, hat schnell geantwortet und hilfsbereit. Leider war die Wohnung nicht richtig sauber und Sofa/ Sessel durchgesessen oder stark beschmutzt.

Fishing Lodge

Overall, it was not worth it. The Fishing Lodge is one of the oldest properties in Cap Cana; therefore, most of the house appliances are worn out and damaged by salt water. The bathroom fixtures are also rusty and worn out. The couch and a table were broken, and most of the ceiling lights did not work. It took three days for the AC to cool down the apartment, and the fan in the ceiling had only one speed—the lowest one! The AC also dripped for a few days. Ricardo was very responsive, but the place and the area were not worth it. There are better choices in Cap Cana.

Owner amazing property bad

Our first apt 4064 we booked was horrible smell of mildew was intense. Black mold in the closet. This apt needs attention as it’s not liveable. Owner was very responsive and moved us to another apt much better Place lacks cleaning furniture smells of sweet needs a deep cleaning only two towels left for a week only two beach towels Apartment needs a deep cleaning mirrors not cleaned shower door not cleaned. Whomever is taking care of air needs to be replaced fast. Bldg not clean elevator was disgusting dirty the whole experience not what I thought for CapCana very sad

Studio apartment in cap cana

Location is amazing. We hired a taxi in advance to transport us from the airport to the rental and gave them the location address provided by the owner. They could not find it. Unit is actually a privately owned Residence on the sports illustrated resort. Once we located the resort, We went to reception as instructed by the opener, but there was no one there who knew where the unit was. Finally one of the employees was able to help us and took us to the unit.Due to issues with the lock on the door we were over an hour trying to get in we were in the apartment the bedding was stale and smelled rancid very bad night for us. We had to contact the owner to range for clean towels and sheets. The unit was advertised as having a kitchenette which it did a two burner stove top one of the burners not working there were no bowls there were no cooking utensils of anything that was clean or serviceable they did have about 50 dinner plates but no sandwich plates or anything of that nature there was three pots and if you wanted to make a salad you made them in the pot so my husband and I just decided we were camping there was no other way around it it was not luxurious very disappointed in this unit I would rated a two. VRBO should make sure that every rental has somebody local that can help visitors at the location. It was extremely frustrating for us. Employees of the resort were extremely helpful and informed us that this owner was

Fisherman's Lodge

The staff was amazing, so attentive and nice! The room was set up very nicely however it had a musty smell. We were there for a week in January. We didn't have maid service but didn't need it. Two bath towels and two pool towels weren't enough for a two week stay, glad we packed a couple extra towels. BTW, don't forget you need to supply your own toilet paper and paper towels. Our room (2111) faced the marina, the view was beautiful. The room also faced the dining/entertainment area. Music each night until 10 or 11, not a good choice if an early bedtime is your preference but fun if you want to enjoy the fun from the privacy of your room, The food was very good. We decided to go with the all inclusive plan after we arrived. To our surprise, the all-inclusive plan included room service. We rented a car and bikes. Though we had fun on our car adventure, I'd recommend taking the tours that are available. Driving in D.R. is ...shall we say....creative! Not for the faint of heart. We were even pulled over by a military roadblock, mostly an uneventful occurrence but my heart did skip a beat or two. Regarding the bikes, it would be a fun way to cruise the big resort but our bikes did not arrive. It was ok but it would have been a fun and easy ride around the huge complex. I'd encourage every first time visitor to ask for a tour of the property when you arrive. One of the staff took us for a ride in a golf cart around the resort on the third day. I wish we had done it sooner! The beach is not on the property, it's an easy bus ride to the very nice beach. Food, drinks, lawn chairs and water toys are available on site. Food and drinks are part of the all-inclusive plan too. US dollars are widely accepted. Plan to bring lots of tip money and don't expect to find a place to make a change. Bring 10s, 5s and 1s for staff tips. Overall, I would recommend it. The resort was clean and beautiful.

Cap Cana is a wonderful place to hideout from the cold winter months. The pools are very clean and never crowded. The Dolce Italia restaurant was excellent and the food was wonderful without being too expensive.

Perfect place to relax. Loved the patio, the views are awesome. The area beaches are some of the best I have ever seen. This is not a party kind of place, it’s extremely quiet so if you are looking to relax in warm spot then this property is for you. Not many English speakers but there’s an app for that lol

Beautiful condo, in a great location

I’ve stayed in Cap Cana numerous time and this condo by far was the best one. It’s in a great area everything is easily accessible, beautiful views, extremely easy to check in and the property mgr Ricardo was just as awesome. Any questions or concerns I had he resolved within minutes. definitely recommend this condo!

Cap Cana Alsol luxury Fishing lodge was awesome. Beautiful buildings and grounds. Cheap transportation inside Cap Cana, $3 taxi service plus free shuttles to beaches and Blue Mall. Fishing lodge has several shops an restaurants. El Potico Italian restaurant was our favorite. Best fishing in the Caribbean. API Beach by the Marina was beautiful with nice bar and restaurant. Went in early November, low season, very few people and great service. WiFi is very slow and only in a few areas. Overall a great trip!

Disappointed

We have used VRBO for many many years. Stayed everywhere from Cozumel to Tennessee and haven't been disappointed once. I'm sorry to say this was a disappointment from the get go. The air conditioner did not keep the room cold. It worked enough to keep it cool but never refreshing. The refrigerator or mini freezer did not keep our drinks or food cold. The stove top would not work. The worst part of the whole place was the bed felt like you were sleeping on a hard board. I actually stuffed pillows under the fitted sheet so that I could sleep. The place felt dirty and not well kept. The sheets were very stale and stunk. It wasn't very clean. The furniture had stains and was as hard as the bed. The shower had a rain shower head but it hasn't been maintained so it squirts water randomly instead of straight down. The cable was very fuzzy and not visible. The resort that the condo is in feels deserted. A BUNCH of empty store fronts and empty condos. We had booked this place for 7 nights and finally after 2 gave up and had to find another place to stay at our cost. I contacted the owner to try to get a refund and he was not accommodating at all. Never apologized for the inconvenience or condition of the condo. I don't want anyone else to have to deal with what we did on a vacation which is supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable.

Great stay!

Great stay! Condo is exactly as described and portrayed in pictures. The quieter of the two large pools is steps from the patio. Everything was very clean. Ricardo was very responsive and easy to work with, both leading up to trip and during stay. The resort staff were incredibly friendly. A few tips/opinions: - Confirm beach shuttle pickup time/location with the guys outside reception vs relying on what’s in the daily printed flyer. The shuttle was a no-show at Juanillo Beach one day. - Juanillo Beach is pretty, Api Beach is better - quieter, more secluded, more beach things to see (shells, crabs, birds). You can cut through the gravel “roads” to get there - you don’t have to go all the way back out to the main road. Or take the shuttle. - Look over the sides of the fishing piers to see tons of tropical fish! - Eat at La Yola at least once. It’s a beautiful setting and the food is good. It’s just at the end of Tiara - you simply walk through the military post separating Cap Cana and Punta Cana. This is less scary than it sounds and takes only a few seconds to get through. The first time we did it we had the resort shuttle run us over so the driver could talk to the military guys for us. The other times we just walked over/through on our own. - If you say hi to the gardener, he might hack open a fresh coconut for you so you can have coconut water. - If you’re used to using a washcloth when you shower, bring one along. Likewise if you plan to cook in the kitchen, you may want an extra dish towel.

I just returned from Punta Cana 4 days ago. The property was amazing. The property staff are wonderful, nice, and helpful. The Condo was absolutely everything that I needed for my stay. We were very happy with our decision to stay at this property. Ricardo is prompt and very resourceful with answering questions and giving suggestions. Bavaro Adventure Park is approximately 20 minutes away. We went horseback riding there. There is also ziplining, dune buggies, zorbing, fly simulator, Segway, pool, and Bungee trampoline.....at Bavaro Adventures. I highly recommend renting a car to get around if you like to venture out. Juanillo beach is about 12 minutes away by driving. The resort has a shuttle that makes several trips to the beach everyday at no charge. There is a small beach walking distance at the marina. But, Juanillo beach is a must. There is a grocery store as you leave the airport. I also recommend the party boat excursion with Scape Park. It includes snorkeling, a ride along the coast and entering the laguna. This is my 4th visit to Punta Cana. I usually do all-inclusive. I much prefer going this route. We bought breakfast foods.....had a big breakfast in the morning. Snacked throughout the day on fruits and chips. We had a nice dinner at Andre Carne's (I highly recommend this restaurant) which is about 20 minutes away......and the other nights we pan fried meat, fish, potatoes, and vegetables......very quick meal. There are pots, plates, utensils, in the room......... I cannot say enough about my stay. It was AWESOME!!!! Will definitely be returning. Thanks a million Ricardo.

Amazing, perfect and more than I expected

My wife and I hadn't been on a true vacation for quite some time. After much research we discovered this place and couldn't have expected it to be as amazing as it was. The condo itself was perfect for us, but the people that worked at the resort made it that much better. Add to this, the professionalism and friendliness of Ricardo in booking the room and the transfers was outstanding!

Property is large & well maintained. Lovely!

It was very nice & seems huge when you first get there but after the first a day or so it's very easy to get around. Had a few problems but Ricardo took care of them right away, he is a very easy person to communicate with. The site manager Stephany went above & beyond, she even found the distilled water that we couldn't find for my husbands Cpap machine & picked it up & brought it to us. It's a quiet resort but the staff are all excellent & we had a wonderful experience there. We are planning to go back next year. It was a fun vacation & we met a lot of great people.

Wir haben 4 Wochen in der speziellen 1-Bett-Raum Wohnung verbracht (3054) mit zwei Balkonen zum Pool und sogar ein bisschen Meerblick, Küche, Waschmaschine und Trockner, Ankleideraum und Wohnzimmer. Sehr effiziente und leise Klimaanlage und das Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche. WLAN gab es gratis! Ricardo können wir sehr empfehlen! Absolut seriös und verlässlich! Ein großes Plus waren die Fahrräder. Morgens sind wir jeden Tag 750 m im Pool geschwommen und mein Mann hatte danach seine tägliche Fitness- Fahradrunde zum Mercato National (große Auswahl an Lebensmitteln) in der Nähe vom Flughafen. Unsere Siesta wurde vom Krach (Musik und Animationen) zwar gestört aber wir haben in der Nähe mindestens 8 Paradies- Buchten mit Ruhe gefunden. Mit dem Rad 15 bis 25 Minuten (Juanello) und auch zu Fuß kein Problem. Vorne, hinter dem Tiara kommt man auch durch die Mauer in Richtung Playa Blanca. Und ab 18 Uhr ist es am Pool wieder ganz ruhig und auf dem großen Arial der Marina und überall im "Dorf" kann man so schöne Details entdecken. Kompliment an die Architekten. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und ohne Händler, die Krimskrams verkaufen wollen. Also privat und an den Stränden steht immer eine freie Liege bereit. Genießen Sie einfach den Urlaub! Und vielen Dank an Ricardo (der immer per Mail - auch auf deutsch-ansprechbar ist und innerhalb weniger Minuten antwortet).

Excellent condo in a lovely environement

We had a lovely stay in cap cana. The condo was very nice, clean and well equiped. Ricardo, who we rented from was very nice, service minded and wery quick turn around on our questions and enquiries. We definetely do recommend this rental.

Spacious unit and well decorated for our 1 week stay over the Christmas Holidays. 2 adults and 1 teenager. My favourite "room" was the walk out balcony overlooking the pool and property. Restaurants on site were nothing to write home about. Our preferred beach was Api. $3.00 taxi ride or a 30 min walk which we did a couple of times. Food was ok there, but small portions for your money. It was a clean and quiet beach. Juanillo beach a little further away, same price for taxi, but not walkable. Good service, food was adequate as well. Small portions once again. Cap Cana market was around the corner from the resort for groceries. Same price for taxi, also walkable, 25-30 min. A little pricey, and owner always seemed to be in a bad mood. Resort seemed busy near front desk, but the rest of it seemed pretty quiet. Good overall relaxing time. Ricardo the owner was easy to reach, quick to respond and attended to our needs in a timely matter. Would recommend dealing with Ricardo.
