Host was welcoming. Amenities and grounds were very well maintained. The condo was clean. We were told the washer and dryer would be replaced during our week stay but it wasn’t!Otherwise very nice.

We had a wonderful first trip to Punta Cana! While there was quite a bit of seaweed on the beach and in the water during this time of year, the staff worked tirelessly to keep it under control. Last photo is how thick the seaweed gets this time of the year. If you walk down a ways, some areas it didn’t get as bad. We definitely plan to return during the off-season when the beaches are clearer so we can spend even more time by the water.Our stay was truly memorable. Liz greeted us to let us in and tell us all about where to eat and go. She was incredibly kind! The owner set us up with the taxi transportation. Victor was so responsive and helpful with both our arrival and departure—his team was always punctual, and I felt completely safe with them. And if you haven’t experienced the driving in the Dominican Republic, you will understand why I felt safe with his drivers. I would not rent a vehicle in this country.Staying in the condo was the best decision—we’ll never go the all-inclusive route! It offered a perfect mix of comfort and local charm. My 9-year-old son had an amazing experience and learned so much about the culture and way of life in the Dominican Republic.We also loved how many great restaurants and local markets were just a short walk away.A big thank you to Stuart for providing such a lovely place to stay and for the excellent communication from start to finish!

2nd trip

I love the property and we enjoyed the unit - would have loved a nicer set up on the rooftop but the space for two of us is perfect!! Our blender didn't work, my husband and I both have protein smoothie daily and Liz, the property manager showed up at the door within an hour with a brand new one for our stay!! Amazing job by the groundskeepers but the beach is so beautiful here and something must be done about the Sargassum Seaweed left on either side the odor is powerful. Despite that we loved the pools, the area, the restaurants and the people. From the locals to the tourists like us, we always make new friends and these 9 days were so relaxing and enjoyable, I can't wait to go back!!

Enjoyable stay

Stuart was a great host, Liz was a fabulous property manager and gave us detailed instructions about all the condo nuances and suggestions. Victor was a safe and patient driver who waited for us to snag some groceries along the way for a lower cost. The condo is very nice and even with AC for long periods of time in the living room it can still feel warmer but still reasonably comfortable. The AC in the master was fabulous. They even had a little portable fan which was super lovely. One big highlight was going to the beach daily and having comfortable loungers with cushions to lay on and take in the ocean breeze. We were recommended to go to a restaurant called Citrus, while my husband's pork (Japanese style) was excellent, I ordered the red snapper (not fried) and it is served fancy -- entire fish, eyeballs and all....THAT was NOT a welcome surprise, lol, but after working with the manager they got me a nice salmon filet that was fab. Overall, a great trip. If you enjoy burgers would suggest the burger joint nearby (Siglo XIV).

Wonderful vacation

My best friend & I stayed for a week this condo is as pictured has everything that is needed . The grounds are beautiful & you have so many restaurant option in walking distance . The owner & property manager(Liz)are very easy to communicate with & made our stay even more enjoyable

The Real Punta Cana

This property affords the exclusivity of a resort with the access to the real punta Cana experience. It has the amenities, the security, the beachfront restaurant, the exclusive beach access, and it’s also steps from shops restaurants, the real non touristy stuff. A major advantage is the driver that is offered to you (Victor) and the welcome staff (Liz). With these two helpers on hand, you don’t need anything else except sunscreen and money to spend while you’re here. Liz is very warm and welcoming and a wealth of information. The condo owner Stuart was very helpful and responsive to me leading up to the trip. Overall just a great location to enjoy bavaro beach without paying exorbitant all inclusive prices. Dont rent a car, you wont need one and driving is a disaster anyway. Everything is easy to walk to either down the beach or right out the gate. —the beach is public but the resort offers chairs and tiki huts for guests only. Guards are enforcing this —the grocery across the street is fine for short stays, if you are staying a week or longer, get a ride to downtown punta Cana for the larger stores —Liz has contacts for excursions, also if you walk down the beach to the left until you reach Cortecito (obvious beach village) and look for Tito near the pink hut, he sells good excursions. I’m also told Tony on the Playa Turquesa beachfront is good to work with. —we used 30 of electricity, just follow the rules and it’ll be fine.

Very very pleased !

Check-in was easy. The place was exactly as reflected in photos and was clean and well organized. Condo mgr was quickly responsive to any qstns. Very close to a beautiful beach front area, which was exclusively for guests. Always had beach chairs available in a shaded area. You must pay for the electricity, but we were relative careful and ended up with a bill of less than 50 USD for 12 full days, so don’t let this discourage you. We are already planning to return next Dec.

Felt like home.

The house was spacious yet cozy. Everything was there that we needed. Bed was comfy as was the sofa. The owner was such a sweet lady! And being a 5 minute walk from the beach was just wonderful! Can’t wait to book again.

Another Awesome stay at Playa Turquesa

Stayed for a week with a friend. Everything was great. We used the Owners recommended taxi driver, Victor, to get to and from the airport. He had a nice, newer van and even offered to stop at the big grocery stores on the way if we wanted to get groceries. The property manager, Liz , was awesome, and answered any questions we had. The unit itself was clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Overall just an awesome vacation!
