“We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! Josh is an excellent host and his girlfriend, Mariela, is an great cook. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (gallo pinto/eggs), fab dinner (Arroz con Pollo) and the best pina coladas ever! The river/estuary views are every changing with the tides. Overall, it's a hidden paradise in a typical Costa Rican neighborhood.”

“Daniela was an excellent host. We had a nail in a tire and her father came to the rescue. The communication and support from the host was "second to none". The setting was in the middle of the rainforest with decks on every side of the house. Each time we went out we saw and heard birds and one time even had monkeys entertain us. The site was convenient to reach all of our excursions in the Monteverde area and there we a couple of excellent restaurants within walking distance. We could not have...

“The property is whimsical and charming, but a lot of stairs and different areas are not connected to each other. Fairly close to town and some shops and coffee houses. Great views of the forest. Loved hearing the birds in the morning. The kitchenette was bare bones and not easy to cook in. We ended up going out for more meals than we planned on.”
