Escape to a well-equipped log cabin on the lakeshore, just 10 km from town—perfect for a peaceful nature getaway with great outdoor opportunities nearby.

Enjoy your own private beach, dock, and a free rowing boat, plus a traditional hut building for cooking and making a fire. Firewoods are included. Pets are allowed.

Ski trips are easy from here: Paljakka/Ukkohalla ski centers are about 30–40 minutes away, and slopes as well as hiking and sledding trails are only 8 km away. The surrounding area offers excellent terrain for outdoor activities, berry picking, hunting, skiing, hiking, and sledding. Near the plot you’ll also find Metsähallitus government-owned lands, ideal for berry picking and enjoying everyman’s rights.

Note! The price does not include final cleaning or linen, but you can order them (cleaning 105 eur and linen/towel 15 eur/person).

Cottage amenities
Remote controlled heating system, air-conditioning and an air heat pump, plus drinkable running tap water. There are two bedrooms: one with a 160 cm double bed and a second with a 140 cm double bed. Safety features include a fire and carbon monoxide alarm and a fire extinguisher. Free WiFi is provided.

Kitchen
Fully equipped kitchen with comprehensive tableware for six, stove, oven, coffee maker, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, and refrigerator/freezer.

Living room
Relax by the fireplace or watch antenna and satellite TV (some free sat channels). Two sofa chairs convert into single beds.

Bathroom
Water toilet, sink, water heater, shower, and a washing machine.

Sauna
A beach sauna with an electric heater and water heater. Please note: washing water must be carried from the cottage to the sauna.

Beach and yard
A rowing boat is available free—feel free to fish or row, but remember to buy fishing permits. Life jackets and oars are in a liter. The beach deepens gently (sand at the beginning, mud deeper). You’ll also have a private dock, free parking in the yard, and a car block heating plug. Several cars can be parked in the yard, and there are also 2 plugs for the car block heater. An electric car charging station (11 kW) with a 5 m charging cable is available and charged based on consumption (23 c/kWh).

The cottage is bordered by a ditch on both sides—please stay inside the lot. The peaceful cottage road is about 400 m long, great for relaxing morning walks. The area is quiet: there are four cottages on the same side of the lake, but they are rarely used, especially outside of summer. You may see a few people moving around on the lake, mainly rowing by hand.

Set in the middle of the forest on the lake shore, nature is right outside the door. Depending on season and time of day, you may spot birds, squirrels, hares, foxes, and reindeer. The cottage road is quiet and well suited for walking pets or going for a run, with only a few cars on the nearest public road, Lylykyläntie.

Important rules & notes
Smoking is not allowed inside any building; dumps must be placed in the ashtrays in the yard. Yard trees must not be torn, hollowed out, or have branches broken off. Firewoods and bark in the liter for fireplace. Do not leave children unattended near the water. Respect the peace of nature—don’t make excessive noise. Separate instructions are provided for final cleaning unless final cleaning was purchased separately. Pets are welcome, but you are required to clean up pet waste from the yard, cover the sofa with a cloth, and vacuum up the hair. Charging electric/hybrid cars and staying in mobile homes is prohibited without a separate agreement.

- Smoking is allowed only outdoors, and cigarette butts must be disposed of in an ashtray.
- Keeping animals is permitted, as long as all waste is cleaned up from the yard.
- No unregistered overnight guests.
