The house and grounds, views and hosts were absolutely perfect. Everything was better than the listing, the beds were amazing, the view is spectacular and hosts were attentive, quick with an answer and thoughtful. The house was immaculately clean, incredibly spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was super well stocked, even the knives were sharp. The location is unbeatable, close enough to Boone for restaurants and grocery stores but truly secluded that you can’t see other houses from the property, just woods and sky with a waterfall nearby. When you’re sitting on any of the porches, you can hear water from a creek below. Only wish that we’d stayed longer. Cannot recommend this place enough and hope to be back.

Fantastic property. The host was always around for any questions and with hastily responses. The view of the valley is fantastic and is near al lot of hiking trials. I would stay again!

Amazing view!!! The hosts were seamless in their process - prompt responses and clear instructions. The home was stunning, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed every part of our stay. I really felt like we were in good hands. Would definitely book here again!

Beautiful scenery, but this property was a major letdown. One bedroom was so cold it was unusable, electronics didn’t work, and the house was dirty on arrival (dog hair on bedding, moldy shower liners, cobwebs). We also dealt with an excessive number of stink bugs and wasps flying all over inside the home, and the host ignored our request to not send pest control during our stay, which was invasive and a health hazard due to the toxic fumes and allergies, as we advised them.The host repeatedly apologized, calling the conditions “completely unacceptable,” but never resolved anything. Added fees included an extra person charge that didn’t apply and a 150 cleaning fee for an unclean property.This stay was mismanaged, unsafe, and far below Vrbo standards — I cannot recommend this host.

I had a wonderful stay here! It really is extremely cozy with amazing views. Drinking our coffee on the deck looking out is such an incredible experience. The place was very clean with tons of amenities. I didn't try every bed but the king bed on the main floor was very comfortable. We had plans to go explore during our stay but we wound up staying at the cabin the whole time because we were having such a great time relaxing. I would definitely go back!

Overall a very pleasant and wonderful vacation home/ experience. We absolutely enjoyed the wrap around balcony for the wonderful scenery, early morning coffee and late night winding down. The sound of running water from the river makes the outdoor area very relaxing. We brought our own folding chairs along with zero gravity ones for comfort. Everything was communicated well, and the property had everything we needed. We utilized the propane grill, as we brought disposable mats for easy cleanup, pots and pans for breakfast and dinner side needs, toaster and keurig worked perfectly. We ventured to Staghorn Falls just down the road for waterfall pictures. Truly a fantastic experience and thankful for all the communication responses to make the experience just right. A great mountain getaway!!! I would give this property and it's owners an A

The cabin was beautiful! Really enjoyed the game room and fire pit! Beautiful mountain scenery and excellent owners to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this secluded cabin! The trail walks to the water falls was amazing!

Great Place

My wife and I work remote and typically spend the Camp Week for our 13 yo close by so as not to have to drive 20 hours in a week.This place was great for us. WiFi was awesome, quiet neighborhood, great views, accommodations were very good. Neighborhood waterfall and four wheel trails were a good surprise.Owners were great and communicated almost on a daily basis. Location was convienent to Boone and West Jefferson which we visited daily for dinner.Overall good trip, great value.

Secluded Paradise

We enjoyed the space very much. We enjoyed the seclusion of the property only heard a handful of cars passing by over our 3 night stay! There is a backyard path down the mountain to the trail, which we enjoyed. We would stay again.

Great stay!!

It was a fantastic cabin! The property manager was so easy to work with and had amazing communication with her!! So very pleased and will be staying here again with Sunscape as the property manager Hannah is the reason I will use Sunscape again and again!!
