Great getaway!

We had a great time using the condo as a base camp to explore Middle Bass Island, Put in Bay and Kelley’s Island. Would definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately, due to a last-minute medical procedure my husband and I had to cancel. The owner was so understanding and really worked with us our reservation. He's very responsive and we cannot wait to actually visit this location in the near future, it looks amazing

Middle bass island

It was nice relaxing vacation with friends. Our condo was very nice and clean. The outside of the complex good use some TLC. And the beach area could use some work as well.

Great time on Middle Bass Island

Middle Bass Island is a hidden gem- beautiful island with a chill, local vibe but plenty to do. We stayed at Hazards Resort with a great pool area and tiki bar / restaurant in the condos. The condo was a good size for us and comfortable for 4 adults. The renovated Lonz Winery, fun patio and bar at JF Walleyes added to the experience along with great pizza at Uncle Joe’s.

Perfect Getaway

A long weekend getaway for a girls trip. It was the perfect combination of fun and relaxing! Next time we will ferry the car over. I recommend doing that even though the golf carts are available to rent right at the resort. Very nice condo, amazing view of the lake and the pool, hot tub and bar were very nice!

Everything was great , the view from the balcony was amazing! Middle Bass Island is more laid back than put in bay. They have a coffee shop that we liked. JE walleyes is a nice place to have a drink. And the pizza shop next to the general store was top notch! I would recommend hazards campground to anyone with a family. They have a nice pool and plenty of places for kids to ride their bikes. I know this because we rode our bikes. And if you want to spend the day at put in bay there is a short ferry ride to the main island. The coffee shop employees were very friendly and helpful, they were going to help me bring down to ferry station a third cup of coffee that I couldn’t carry because they were out of carriers. Another employee of the general store gave me a lift to the ferry station because I was lugging a lot of luggage by myself. The people of middle bass island sure know how to treat visitors!

Great Spot Great Hosts!

The island in general and the property in particular were great! Everyone on the island was extremely friendly and polite. Charles was extremely proactive about communication and responsive, the check in process was smooth and easy and the property managers provided plenty of detail about the logistics of getting to the property. I really felt like we went into the trip with both eyes wide open and somehow the property still exceeded expectations. Simply saying the property had a "lake view" doesn't quite do it justice, the lake is literally within throwing distance. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to travel to the lake and looking for something a little less busy than Put-In Bay.

Well appointed with a beautiful view

Beautiful new interior, we would definitely stay here again The recliner is very comfortable, kitchen is well appointed with tablewareOnly 1 towel and washcloth per person and 1 hand dowel per bathroom instead of per person is not enoughPrimary bath shower is extremely small for such a large bathroom and the shower head is very difficult to adjust. Some of the dining chairs need the legs fixed and the tabletop is worse for wearGreat balcony and view of the lake. Loved that there is bird deterrent hardware above the door frame on the balcony - effective and appreciated Instructions for how to get into the unit does not match what you have to do to get again. Very difficult. Had a neighbor help us and we eventually got in. Instructions need updated. Remember to bring kcups for the keurig if you are a coffee drinker. The Hazards pool that we can usé is a great area to refresh from the heat. But their restrooms are hideous. They need seriously renovated. Overall, we love this modern, clean and beautiful unit and we will definitely be back. Thank you fro having us.
