Deep Bay Ocean Front Cottage - Private Getaway with Hot Tub

  • This cosy two storey cottage is a hidden gem. Enjoy a picture perfect view from any window or read a great book by the fire. Savour swimming in the sea, walking in the tide pools, strolling along the sand bar, watching the soaring eagles or relaxing in the sun. If you ever want to explore beyond the cottage, just minutes away, there is golfing, fishing, hiking, kayaking and more. Bring
    your kayaks and paddle board.

    The many amenities close by include a grocery store, a liquor store, a drug store, a post office and a great art gallery/gift store. In just 20 minutes you can drive to Qualicum or Courtenay/Comox. Seascape Cottage is a fabulous find for artists and photographers alike.

    Come and enjoy our little piece of paradise.

    Please note… this is a cabin surrounded by trees and foliage. There will be insects in the home on occasion. Also, our drinking water is the best on the island… no need to bring bottled water. It is crisp and refreshing!

    We have a landscaper that will be on the property every Friday. If you feel that this will affect your privacy please feel free to let us know in advance.

    There is a host in the vicinity to help you with any questions or concerns.

Perfect home to make memories in

We just had the most incredible weekend at this beautiful beach house. It offers everything and more that you could possibly need to feel at home and the view is absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend this vacation rental and I cannot wait to go back.

Mini Family Get Away

Our family really enjoyed our stay. We loved the views, quiet and privacy. We had a fun time exploring the tidal pools. The welcome bottle of bubbly was a nice touch. Highly recommend this place.

Peaceful Setting

We had a fabulous visit this summer. The house is well stocked, the location is idyllic and the stay was restful. Hit the low tides lucky and spend a few hours on the sandbar daily. Lots of games, laughs and memories.

Awesome stay

Easy to find on vrbo awesome view Clean house had everything we wanted/needed Parking was great Had a few spiders to deal with but it's that time of year. But overall it was more than we expected with sheer beauty of house and property room view would rent again

Outstanding accommodation

This beautiful cottage is located on the ocean and offers spectacular views. Architecturally, it is stunning, both inside and out. The cottage is thoughtfully equipped and had everything we needed. Beyond this, the hosts were highly responsive and gracious. We loved our vacation!!

Wonderful

Our family thoroughly enjoyed Seascape Cottage. Beautiful ocean location with awesome sunsets! We spent alot of time outdoors on patios. House is very well equipped and super comfortable for a larger group. Great communication with owner and property manager. We would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Lovely Any Time of Year

This is a very comfortable seaside home that offers all that it claims to. Everything you need, plus much more, is provided. The hot tub sits perfectly to enjoy the water views, and the night skies. The location is ideal for a private getaway in the woods and on the beach, offering privacy as well as convenience to shopping and local attractions. We look forward to seeing it again in the summer.

Lovely place right on the beach!

We were welcomed with a bottle of bubbly for the birthday celebrations! Very nice touch! Loved all the glass ware and beautiful pottery dishes… made us feel at home. The view was beautiful and the beds comfy Soo nice to have all the touches Would definitely come again

Wonderful Seaside Cottage

We booked this for a get away for my parents with my sister and her spouse. The location was fantastic being incredibly private and relaxing with great vista views and awesome amenities. It had everything we needed, and more. You can tell this place is loved and I can absolutely see myself returning. The hosts were awesome and responsive. I highly recommend this place!!

Perfect private waterfront haven

This place is such a gem. Quiet, private, fully set with everything needed for enjoying walks on the beach, or admiring the amazing views from the hot tub, or curling up with an earthenware mug of tea in front of the fire. Puzzles, games, telescope for the teens too. Spotlessly clean, very well maintained cottage with gracious hosts a text away if you need anything. Thank you Kathy & Joanne!

Wonderful property and as advertised

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and scenic house and property. A beautiful outdoor sitting area provided us with stunning views of the coastline with wildlife and sea life abound. We made very good use of the hot tub where again we had the opportunity to enjoy the scenery around us. The house is well appointed and the fireplace was an added bonus for us. We were on a golf holiday and the location gave us access to good golf courses within 50 minutes of the house. Our hosts were highly responsive for the very few times we needed them. I highly recommend this property.

BC coastal haven

This was a return visit to this BC haven - a beautiful home with amazing vistas of an almost private beach. Hot tub with a view of the ocean is the perfect way to relax on a grey fall evening. Beds are super comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The wood-burning fireplace draws so well, and sets the perfect backdrop for a cosy night in. Highly recommend.

Amazing Stay

From the moment we walked in and saw the view, the layout and the complimentary bottle of bubbly we knew we had made the right choice. From an 18 month old to grandparents this place worked for all. Twice daily trips to the water, the occasional hot tub and all day relaxing made for an amazing trip. The only thing that would have enhanced the experience is if "Bowser Moon" was doing a reunion show somewhere close by :-)

Peaceful Oceanfront Getaway!

We loved, loved, loved our stay at the Seascape Cottage... it just went by way too fast! The hosts and property manager were super accomodating and we all had a great time. Every bedroom had an ocean view so we could wake to gorgeous sunrises over Chrome Island every morning. All the little touches, including fantastic art, locally made soaps & beautiful pottery were very much appreciated - we had everything we needed. Beds and furniture were all super comfy and the hot tub amazing. Pure bliss!

Epic views from an epic house

Our family of eight had the most amazing time staying in this place. With four large bedrooms, everyone had their own space. The common area is designed so well for connection reading, games, puzzles or just sitting on the window seat, watching harbour seals and listening to the waves crash metres away from you. We enjoyed cooking meals and hot tubbing, and going for walks on the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable. The place was beautiful. I can’t recommend this place with more exuberance.

Private oceanfront oasis

What an incredible spot. The views and the privacy were even better than we had anticipated from the website photos. Joanne and Kathy were friendly and helpful, as was Ashley. The hot tub (amazing jet power) and fireplace (draws beautifully) were wonderful bonuses. My daughter made excellent use of the telescope. The frolicking seals & lighthouse island were charming. Supplying robes for the hot tub and real wine glasses were unexpected & welcome details. Can’t wait to come back.
