A genuine lakefront one-bedroom suite offering uninterrupted views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables. Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the space with natural light, while a cosy gas fireplace and private patio create a peaceful, private retreat for couples or solo travellers.



The Space

Open-plan living combines full-height glass windows, a comfortable lounge, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Step outside to the private patio to take in the ever-changing lake views, or unwind indoors by the fireplace. The view is softened slightly by trees toward the lakefront.



Access is from the lower (lakefront) car park, then via external stairs — this suite is not wheelchair accessible.



Please note: the fireplace in this suite is not currently operational. An upgrade is scheduled for completion by 16 October — we'll update this listing once the work is finished.

Guest Access

Guests have full use of the entire suite, including the kitchen, living and dining area, bedroom, bathroom and patio, plus free, uncovered parking in the lower (lakefront) car park (one space per villa).

Villa del Lago sits on the lakeside of Frankton Road — a small, private complex above the Queenstown Trail, with sweeping lake and mountain views and none of the traffic of a busier street.

For your convenience, this suite offers self-check-in, with check-in instructions sent by email prior to your arrival.



A portacot, high chair and baby bath can be provided on request for a fee of NZD $50 — please let us know at least 3 days prior to arrival.



House Rules

Maximum of 2 guests. At least one guest in the booking party must be 25 years or older. No pets, no parties, and no smoking or vaping indoors — and absolutely no glitter. This property sits in a residential area; quiet hours are 10:00pm–7:00am.

This suite is self-check-in, with arrival instructions sent by email prior to check-in. There is no staffed reception on site, but our team is available daily by phone or message for anything you need.
