We had a great time at the Mount Walker Inn. It's located in a cute, quaint town. The place was super clean and it was exactly as advertised in the listing. The beds were comfortable, we had plenty of space as a family of 4. The bathroom and shower were small, but we managed just fine. We would stay again. My only complaint is that they advertise themselves to be pet -friendly, but when I reached out about bringing our dog, I was told the pet fee would be 186. The total for our one-night stay was 172, so it was going to cost more for my dog to stay than for my family. That was very odd to me. I don't believe they should call themselves pet-friendly. For that price, it seems they would prefer you don't bring your dog. However, they provided a water bowl, poop bags and a separate towel as pet items, so they did have things for a pet. We left our dog home for this trip.
