“The room was pleasant, but the glass door between the bedroom and the toilet and shower area was odd and rather off putting. The bed was comfortable, and we got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was adequate, but the cereal, and other cold buffet items were uninspiring. All in all, a bit dull, particularly since a refurbishment was done in 2019. Ok for a night or two though.”

“Lovely hotel and spa. I guess in the summer this is more a wedding hotel (we stayed friday and saturday and there were weddings both days). This didn't effect us at all, other than the long queues at breakfast time - there was no noise and we weren't disturbed at all. The room was very large, clean and modern. A really nice touch as the option not to have your room serviced if you are staying more than 1 night, in exchange for a voucher for the bar - thats a win win. Overall, a lovely break”

“I travel a lot for work and stay in many different places, but not often I find a place that is as good as home. The primary bed was very large and comfortable with a variety of pillow types. It was dark and quiet at night. The bathroom was large with a modern rain shower or soaker tub....the choice is yours. Kitchen had everything you'd need to cook for yourself and the choice of living spaces were generous. Ground floor living room has a wood burning stove which I hope to enjoy when I come...

“We loved the welcome gift that awaited you when you entered the room. The breakfast was great, there was an expanse of choice and you helped yourself. The bed was so very comfortable and a great size. The room was quiet and the shower was really good. Would definitely visit again.”
