This vacation apartment is part of a noble 19th century villa on a large estate in the midst of the Hyblaean countryside in southeastern Sicily. It offers its guests an impressive atmosphere in a romantic and at the same time historical ambience, full of tradition and culture. The structure has been renovated keeping the original features such as stone walls, pitchstone floors, wooden ceilings and exposed wooden beams and many other details. Access to the apartment through a large typical stone courtyard ("baglio") surrounded by various buildings, some of which are used as warehouses, others for original use, such as the church, the small country school, the stables, etc.. The apartment is on the first floor and has a large private outdoor area with jasmine plants and an ancient olive tree, equipped with table, chairs and umbrella, for outdoor dining and pleasant moments of relaxation amidst the colors and scents of the countryside and with a children's play area, common barbecue. For common use with the other guests of the property: about 70 m away, beautiful pool with a corner with 8 hydromassage jets. On the property there is a riding stable with 10 beautiful horses. The owner offers various possibilities for riding tours and riding lessons. Ideal destination for a relaxing vacation in the middle of unspoiled nature. Various places of interest are within easy reach: 4 km Donnafugata with its beautiful castle; 27 km the small hill town of Chiaromonte Gulfi with breathtaking views, known as the 'balcony of Sicily'; cities of Sicilian Baroque such as Comiso (14 km) and Ragusa Ibla (19 km). 20 km the seaside resort of Marina di Ragusa with beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear sea, marina, stores of all kinds and vibrant nightlife.
