Fantastic house, with absolutely lovely owner who made us all feel really welcome. Beds were all great and the kitchen was fully equipped with every equipment A large group could need! The house had Christmas lights and a tree all decorated for us. Deeanna gave us a comprehensive list of places to visit and was super helpful! Fully reccomended!

Check-in goodKitchen facilities good but dishwasher temperamental on occasion.Two problems-child seat belt replaced and dining room door hinges-resolved speedily and satisfactorily by Deanna.Please pass on our thanks to her and the cleaners.Altogether an enjoyable stay and we recommend the house.

A really good house with an attractive layout. Everything we needed was provided and the house was clean and well looked after. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the square and the tennis courts. The back garden with its big table was ideal for a large party.

Perfect Ramsgate stay

The house was exactly as described and very well equipped for the number of people in our party. The accommodation was very comfortable and perfect for all ages in our group. The host Deanna was very attentive and gave suggestions for activities while we were there, she couldn't have been more helpful. Overall we had a fabulous week and would recommend this house and host!

Sensational Seaside Sanctuary

Latimer House is such a beautiful place, the photos and all I tell you will not do it justice. Deanna the host is a dream to work with and she couldn't have done more to support our visit for my 60th birthday celebrations. She was so flexible and helpful, even taking calls from my children around little extra touches they wanted to sneak into the mix without my knowledge! We are a multi generational family and the house lends itself perfectly to meeting all of our needs. The flow of the building, layout of the rooms, amenities, facilities, spec/decor, cleanliness, attention to detail and of course location are just a few of the reasons why I would recommend this place to stay, a hundred times over. Oh, the beds were so comfortable too! The stairs could be considered steep for children and older people but there are beautiful bannisters and none of the children [under 5's ] had a problem at all navigating them. Plenty of on street free parking and so close to the beach and walking distance to the town centre. We got a bus into Broadstairs one day and it was so easy to pick one up from there too. We had a private chef come in one night and he was fabulous , it was so nice to enjoy the house and dining room whilst the children slept upstairs The house is beautifully decorated and you really do feel like you are in a hotel - especially the room we stayed in with its own ensuite bathroom. So if you are looking for a place to stay and celebrate a special occasion, this is it!

Christmas family reunion

Highly recommend and will go back! Fantastic stay in a gorgeous house and our host Deanna was wonderful and handled lost keys and found keys with great calm and so easy to communicate with! Very clear check in and check out and fully equipped kitchen for cooking full Christmas dinner for 12! Loads of fridges and ovens made life so much easier. Excellent pubs and eating super close!

We rented the house for a large family gathering for a week in August. The property is ideally positioned with only a short walk to the harbour and beach. Deanna was very attentive and was very helpful in guiding us on local attractions and things to do. The house had all the equipment you could want for, including buckets and spades for the beach! We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning! Due to fantastic weather we used the garden every night which is very private and is a lovely setting. A really enjoyable week at a lovely property in a great part of the world. 👍

Perfect weekend away

House suited us perfectly for a multi-generational family weekend away. Deanna was really helpful in giving advice before I booked as to how the rooms would work best for us, given that ages ranged from babies to my elderly Mum (86). House was very clean and location was ideal for the beach and shops/restaurants/pubs. We particularly liked how the dining room and garden benches could accommodate all 12 of us, so we were able to enjoy the chaos of family meals! Arrival/Departure instructions and Deanna's comms were all excellent and overall we had a fabulous time.

A Birthday Celebration to remember at lovely Latimer House

Latimer House was a perfect Property to stay in for a Celebration. Exactly as listed it provided lovely accommodation for our Party of 7 adults and 5 children ranging in age from 12 to two and a half and the multiple bathrooms ensured that everyone was well catered for. The very pretty walled garden was used every evening of our stay due to sunny weather, with a BBQ also provided. If you are looking for a large elegant property for a multi generational get together or for a group of friends then look no further than Latimer House. It is perfectly situated just a few minutes walk from the lovely beaches and the pretty harbour with its many bars and restaurants and there is ample parking.

Nicole's 60th Birthday

Beautiful Georgian Townhouse-perfect setting for a multi-genertional birthday event. Size and nature of the kitchen facililitated our exceptional chef,Ed Jennings,in preparing and cooking the birthday meal and serve straight to dining room and we were then able to move upstairs for dancing!!!! We all had an execeptional stay and our lovely host Deanna was always on hand to answer any questions and gifted me with some birthday bubbles upon my arrival-and other goodies.Will definately be staying again-Latimer house is fab and is right next to the sea .Thanks Deanna. Great Family Friendly Accommodation

5 stars all round. The house was perfect for our large family, the dining room fitted perfect for all 14 and the living room was cosy. Everything we could possibly need for a weekend away so much so they made up a game of what utensil was NOT in the kitchen!! Deanna was kind and helpful and even left a card and wine for my son’s birthday celebration. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Perfect accommodation

My friends and I chose Ramsgate to celebrate a special birthday and Latimer House was the perfect solution for our needs. Plenty of space, superior furnishings, comfy beds with several showers, loos etc for 9 ladies. It was home from home. Rooms spacious, lovely garden and we were also blessed with good weather too. Location was great as easy access to restaurants, bars, shops, beach etc. Parking was easy with our party having several cars, we didn’t even use the allocated parking at the nearby private car park. Deanna was easily contactable should we have needed her. she even left a birthday card and a bottle of wine for the birthday girl (lovely touch) All in all we had a fantastic long weekend and all guests commented on what a great find the house was and we would all highly recommend. Thank you Deanna from all the girls.

Beautiful house and lovely location

We stayed here one week in August 23. This is the 1st time we do a staycation in the UK. The house is very nice with lovely decorations. Lots of equipments for our usage. The house was nice and clean (may be the upstairs carpet could have been done with a little bit more vacuuming but we thought maybe it was busy season so didn't mind). All the rooms as clean and the beds well made. There was plenty of space in the house and the basement flat was lovely with it own fully equiped kitchen. The garden was very nice and enough seating for 14 peoples to enjoy a relaxing time. Deanna the host was very quick to response to any question we asked. We were all supprised at how lovely Ramsgate is with beautiful old building. We thoroughly recommends this house if anyone with a big group of friends/family that want to explore Ramsgate/Margates area.

Beautiful house in a lovely seaside town

We enjoyed a lovely stay in this beautiful house for a week in August. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to fit a family of 11 people with 7 adults and 4 children. Whilst there are 5 floors to the building we didn't find the staircases an issue. Everything you could need, and more, for your holiday, is there. We managed to find free parking on the road outside the house for our two cars but Deanna does have an allocated space in a small car park nearby, but we didn't need to use it. What a surprise Ramsgate is! It has some beautiful buildings, a lovely harbour and a great beach and we found some great bars, pubs and restaurants. Best of all was that the local people there were so friendly! It is very easy to travel about the local area by bus so you don't necessarily need a car to enjoy the area. We really loved our stay and would highly recommend it. The host Deanna is so helpful too and is very prompt with answering queries.
