We couldnt check in because the manager never showed up. After waiting outside for almost 2 hours and three phone calls my husband and i ended up leaving and driving the rest of the 6 hours home. I also have current picturea that i want to share because the property today is nothing like what is posted on your website. I would like a refund please because on the third phone call the manager told me he never received my reservation from Expedia and he had issues with Expedia in the past. This hotel is not even worthy of 1 star. Please respond to me about this issues!

Total gut job going on . Nobody there to check us in and when we called the # on the office door they said they couldn't be back for an hour. They offered a refund which we never got. They said they did everything on there part to do it and no it was up to Expedia. They have done nothing and when I try to talk with them I get a stupid useless bot. I'm done with them and anything associated with them.

WORST HOTEL

I was not able to check in in this hotel. I reached hotel around 915pm. Office was closed. There was number to call. I called them many times but call was going on voicemail. No one returned my call. I need my refund asap

Old motel in poor condition. Very noisy from traffic and AC. Apparently no way to control the temperature other than turning the AC on and off. The bed was comfortable.

Upon arrival we were told a water pipe burst in our room. We had to find another hotel. We were offered a full refund, which would be processed immediately. It's the next day and we haven't seen or heard from anyone on the refund.

They gave me a room that was disgusting and did not even check on me. Apparently, the manager took off and there was no one working!!

So the first time I stayed I was put in a very clean room and felt safe. This was my second stay and theanager apparently quit and left. I got a not so clean room, fridge was old and had broken parts, and the carpet was super nasty. I saw people going to a room for 5 minutes and leaving. There were 5 broke down vehicles in the lot. I do not think I will be staying there again!!

Location on Mt. Rushmore Rd. (US 16) is convenient to many useful businesses like Perkins, Safeway, MacDonald's, Walgreens, and numerous gas stations. The street itself is very noisy and quite busy, though the room itself is remarkably shielded from the noise. All the handles in the bathroom are marginal in some way, including the door and we almost felt like we could lock ourselves into the bathroom if we shut the door all the way. However, we could make everything work. There is no coffee-maker, but the microwave works well if you have something in which to heat water. Refrigerator works well. Many people who patronize the motel seem to be smokers, so there are little buckets and a chair outside the rooms for people to smoke and extinguish the butts. Depending on the luck of the draw, you can get smoke smell in the room if you have the window open. Probably best to keep the window closed and use the AC/heater, which worked well and was blessedly quiet. TV is small but has good range of channels, located a long ways from the chairs you would sit in to watch. TV sits on top of a useful chest of drawers. Parking is well-organized if tight to get in and out. This is an urban motel and fits into the space available in this part of Rapid City. You have to call for check-in, etc., but this worked fine. Somewhat disappointed that towels were partially replenished and trash emptied one day but not the next. All in all, recommended at the price.

Grocery store across the street, restaurant next door, neighborhood to walk in and parking right in front of our room. Meyer was very helpful in helping me clean up when I spilled my morning shake on my white pants. Thought I'd throw them away but he was able to get the stain completely out. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean with nice white towels and the shower water pressure was good and strong. No coffee maker in the list of amenities but when I asked for one it was placed in our room before we arrived. I'd stay here again on a return visit.

Great value in Rapid City!

I needed a place to stay for one night before a family reunion in the Hills. This looked like a good value in a good location. Check in was quick and the clerk was friendly. The room was clean and spacious. There was a refrigerator and a table with two chairs. The bathroom was on the smaller side but the shower worked well. There was coffee available in the morning as well as baskets of bananas and granola bars. I woke up pretty early and walked one parking lot over to Perkins for early coffee. There’s a Safeway across the street, and downtown is only a few minutes away. There’s a decent washer and dryer available for use as well. It’s a fairly busy road but the traffic noise was minimal at nighttime. It was a good value for the price and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
