We had 10 of us at the cabin and it was perfect! We have been coming to the area for years and it was one of the best properties we have stayed in. The hosts were incredibly responsive and communicative. We loved the location and peacefulness. Lots of ammenities to use on the beach. There was plenty of room for all of us to gather for food and games.

Stayed here with my sister and our 4 kids. We all our own bedrooms and bathrooms. Stonington is a place to we like to visit every summer, if possible, for quiet, relaxation, and to get away from the daily to-do's. Even though it's a laid-back feeling, the house has all of our creature comforts. We will stay here again!

The property owners hit it on the head when they listed this property as a hidden gem. The location was spectacular, with the house located on its own private beach. We had camp fires every night, we were outside most of the day, and our kids loved having fun on the beach and being near the water. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. It was a very peaceful and quiet stay on a beautiful piece of land and water.

Directions were clear, getting into house was easy. Pleasantly surprised by 3 full bathrooms. Ladders on bunk beds a little difficult but otherwise a great house.

Our stay was great. The pics were accurate with what the inside and outside looked like. The communication with the host was frequent, and very timely which was nice. The only 2 downsides to the place was that the oven wouldn’t heat up, and the internet cut out every hour or two but then would come back on after a 5 minute reset. All in all we had an incredible time and would definitely return again!

We stayed here for a week for our annual family vacation. It was the best time! 10 adults and 6 kids. Ranging in age from 2 to 84! The house was very clean with comfy bedding/ blankets, plenty of towels, & a well stocked kitchen. There were games, beach toys, & plenty of outdoor seating. We loved the kayaks and paddle board and it was so nice to have water shoes and life jackets available to use. Communication with owner was great! Quick reponse and very kind. The sunsets were breathtaking. I'm a little confused how you would sleep 23 in this house, to be honest. There are 3 bedrooms. One small room with a double bed.One decent sized room with a double or queen. One larger room with 3 sets of double/twin bunks. My husband liteally couldn't stop laughing the first night we tried to squeeze into the bottom bunk! He quickly ended up joining some kids on the couch for the entire vacation. Luckily, it was a comfortable couch. Then, upstairs there is a bed in a loft. There is also a very old pull out sofa with a mattress not even the kids would sleep on! It was extremely uncomfortable and it felt like you were laying directly on the metal frame. We made it work, but would have needed an air mattress for any more people. The only other minor thing was the "techy" door handles/locks. We kept getting locked out of the porch and kitchen doors and the code didn't always work. Thankfully, the main door had an actual manual lock and stayed unlocked. Overall, FANTASTIC. We ll be back!

We throughly enjoyed ourselves at this wonderful home. It was spacious and had more than enough room for myself, wife and 5 kids. The beach was amazing and having a fire while watching the sunset was a great end to everyday. It was by far our favorite place we have rented in the U.P. We are already looking at booking it again next year.

The house was spacious and perfect for our family of 13. The beach view was beautiful with a nice yard for the kids to play. There were many extra amenities like reclining beach chairs, kayaks, many games, washer and dryer, and most anything we needed to enjoy a wonderful, memorable week.

Our stay at this Upper Peninsula cottage was filled with fun and adventure, especially for the kids. First time visitors to the UP, the cottage was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay with multiple families. It came fully stocked with all the amenities we needed, making our stay effortless and enjoyable. The very spacious bunkroom was a hit with the kids. The highlight was undoubtedly the private beach, offering fun days of paddle boarding and kayaking. The view of the sunsets were nothing short of spectacular. Each night ended with a bonfire and smores as we stared up at the clarity of the stars. We took a few day trips and enjoyed exploring the beauty of Pictured Rocks and Kitch-iti-kipi. We highly recommend the Riptide Ride tour at Pictured Rocks! All of us agreed that this was our favorite vacation so far! We loved it so much, we booked next summer! Thanks Amy!

The location of this home cannot be beat! Beautiful grassy yard for playing, and huge sandy beach, waterfront access and amazing views over Lake Michigan. Kayaks and a paddle board provided endless entertainment, as well as searching for unique shells and treasures in the sand. A true Northern MI lake paradise for our group of 8 adults and 24 children. The layout of the home itself lent itself well to our large group. Living spaces were spread out to create several areas to hang. Large indoor and outdoor dining table, and well-equipped kitchen. **There is no AC in the house. The main living areas get a nice breeze off the lake, but next time we would bring some additional fans for the bedrooms (the hosts supplied a few fans too). Host very kind and extremely responsive to messages and questions. Overall, fantastic stay and amazing memories made!

The property was the perfect size. There was more than enough room for entertaining. The kids really enjoyed the fire by the beach. We enjoyed the extra touches. We made use of all of the kayaks. My nephews enjoyed the basketball hoop. The host was super responsive with all my questions. The check in process was super easy. Would definitely stay here again.

We were there for my mother's burial and to have a few days to relax & reflect on her. We were so happy to find this hidden gem. Amy was very responsive, the house was very clean and had so many extras. It is an inviting home with lots of space for everyone. We spent a lot of time by the water and playing in the yard. There was a lot of wood for campfires but we only had 1 day that the wind cooperated for us. Thank you again!!! When we have a need to rent in that area again i will be looking for availability here first.

Check in went well with opening the home and getting settled in. The home was found as expected and advertised. We had plenty of wood for the fire pit and even had charcoal for the grill! There were well placed notes to communicate guest expectations and responsibilities, and we had plenty of room for our family of 7 adults and one grandchild. The beach was our grandchild's favorite spo and there were even some sand toys for them to use. We also enjoyed the kayaks and supplied life jackets. We took a short drive to Jack's restaurant which we recommend, went to visit the local lighthouse just down the road, and also checked out an amazing custom knife store! The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had which mad our experience even more enjoyable.
