All are separate from the pub. Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population. The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal.”

“A great friendly and warm place to stay. A basic menu but done EXCEPTIONALLY well. The pie , chips and peas (with copious) amounts of gravy was just gorgeous. A lovely, well kept pint or two, of real ale were also enjoyed. I'd have to say for room 19 , a new mattress is required. The next morning, a GOOD QUALITY English breakfast was consumed with great gusto too. I'd highly recommend!!”

“What a friendly bunch they are at The Old Bell. Clear the new owners and motivated to make this a great spot for all. A truly warm welcome and great chat with the staff; all keen to learn and do things the right way. They really are a credit to the management.
