“Location was great. Fantastic walking trails. Only had one hair dryer and night light for 2 bed/2 bath chalet. We had to ask for iron and ironing board which was a listed amenity, but owners brought one to us very quickly. An alarm started beeping in the middle of the night. It took us 2 hours to find and turn off the carbon monoxide monitor. Owners should proactively replace batteries in alarms on a regular basis to avoid this inconvenience for their guests.”

“we had a really lovely time on Madeline Island. The house was just what we needed - modest, but with all the necessary amenities to cook a meal, relax and enjoy the water. The access across the road was easy and convenient. The kayaks were awesome! We had an early snag where the property had not been fully cleaned from the previous guests but Alan was on it immediately and offered compensation for the hassle which was much appreciated! Highly recommend!”

“This multi-level house/cabin works well for family and friends to gather on the island. Lots of room inside and outside for potluck dinners and game nights. The basement 2br apartment was especially nice for our son's family with a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and has excellent appliances. Claire was a great host and responded immediately to all questions. There is excellent storage and lots of refrigerator and freezer space for your island stay, ”

“Everything was perfect, and exactly as described in the listing! Such a warm and homey place to stay.Our sons, and their families met us in Bayfield so that we could then travel to the UP for a wedding. Our 3 and 1 year old grandchildren were also with us, and the condo could not have been better. Anything we needed was already there.We will definitely stay there next time we are in Bayfield.”
