When the hostess showed up finally she did offer us a nicer room. We expected a cabin and had trouble finding the place because it was like an old motel. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom did not have a sink. So I’d say it was adequate but I will not return.

First night was great! Great, clean room for the price. Would have rated this higher if we had stayed in the room our whole trip.Issue came when host realized they put us in the wrong room and moved us after one night into a new knit that had been kind of cleaned. Food was left in the fridge and freezer, a couple dishes left to be cleaned and we were not sure the shower had been cleaned prior to our stay.

When we arrived there was a mix up in room so we didn’t get the room pictured. However we did ask the next day to switch to our original room and they showed us a different one that we liked so we were able to move. The place is rustic which was fine for us. It was very clean. We loved the dog run it was perfect since we had our dog with us. Linda and Arnie were so amazing and helpful. The store had pretty much everything we needed and more. I’m sure we will be going back.

Great rustic little cabins, pet friendly, people friendly, bbq on site and a small general store. We will be back for sure.

The description on the website did not match what we found on arrival. Pictures were apparently not the place we thought we were renting and the room didn't appear clean and were told on arrival there was no bathroom sink, but we could use the kitchen sink. The place did have a functional kitchen which was helpful. I did wipe off and wash what I used. The large queen bed was very uncomfortable. The host was generally gracious. We also thought as per the website that we could walk to fishing and that was not the case as there was only a private lake nearby.

We arrived at 3:30, went to the room and it hadn’t been cleaned. Finally found the host on the property. She scheduled us for another room but failed to let me know. Still had to wait for them to clean up that room. She did give us ice cream for free while we waited. The entire property is VERY old and rustic. Definitely could use some work.

Fantastic place to stay, wonderful homey feel in a cute small mountain town! Marci was incredibly kind and hospitable. Can’t wait to make this an annual trip when cutting our Christmas tree.

I hate to leave a bad review because the hosts were so kind and friendly, but the property was disgraceful. We paid for two nights, but only stayed one night because of the poor conditions.The “cabin” was not a cabin at all, but a rundown motel. Five or six connected rooms that offered minimal privacy through the thin walls. The pictures on the website depicted a quaint, well-appointed space. Far from the truth! Absolutely none of the pictures matched what we encountered as far as the accommodations nor the grounds. There was nothing quaint about this property. Rustic is quaint. Rundown is simply trashy!

Marci was fantastic! She upgraded our room due to our reserved room having renovations being done. It was very comfortable with great access to area attractions. It was a great stay for the price. The property was pet friendly which is a great bonus! We would definitely stay there again. Also The antiques store is worth a walk through.

Excellent location for kayaking, hiking and biking. The host was very accessible and attentive to any requests. Cabin was spotless and a cool rustic vine. Very quiet at night. The small lodge had food options and about anything you might need for your stay. Even an ice cream buffet.

Needs work, great location

The location is perfect and the little store that these cabins are attached to has just about everything and great ice cream the host and her family are very nice and very helpful. It needs some updating such as the carpet which is very old and not to great to walk on with bare feet.
